  1.

Wow...Now that is really something :P Thanx for the pic :D

    Nice purchases Rishi :fear:

10.4K. Thought you might want to hurry. Word on the street is that they're EOL and to be replaced by, wait for it... *drum roll* 5750s ZOMFG!

I didn't get this part :P You want us to get the 4870 or wait and get the 5750 :( Pardon my stupid question :P

  2. image169.jpg

    :P

Anshul dude....how much did you get it for ? From the looks of it, it's water cooling right ? Anything else you need to set up a proper working water cooling thing ? :(

Looks really cool :D Would really appreciate if you could put some pics of that thing in action :)

  3. Because you make us feel like we live below the poverty line. ;)

That is a bit harsh but true :P Nevertheless, I REALLY like watching MT's buys. Enables me to randomly know there are things like that out there in the world :D Might get something that he's bought if I REALLY like it :)

  4. do you get something like this for the ps3????or do you need something like this at all????just curious

There is a Nyko Intercooler for the PS3, but I don't think you need it. PS3 is one heck of a stable and awesome machine

Edit: Just had a 3-hour L4D2 mulitplayer session with my cousin. The Xbox was being kept really cool. When I told him to touch the motherboard side of my Xbox 360, he was shocked too. It was hot only a little tinsy bit compared to the "heating iron" we used to get earlier :hi2:

  5. Heat is the primary cause of the RROD and anything that has a mitigating effect prolongs the life of the console.

I currently have a USB fan for this purpose. It isn't pretty and does a half baked job, pun intended.

I'll gladly chose this mature alternative. The Intercooler TS is 2K shipped, KG?

Yes. Here's the quote I received from KMD...

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16868998019

    $19.99 + $6.98 (US Shipping to NY) + $0 (NY Tax) = $ 26.97

    Shipping weight = 2lbs

    Price = Rs. 1,995 + 50 (local shipping) = 2,045/-

I accepted. Placed the order last week and received it yesterday :chair:

Yeah well the architecture of the damn console is such that it rarely makes a difference imho. Either way interesting to see how long it prolongs the inevitable.

That actually is true, but something is better than nothing right  Also, installing and playing your games from the Xbox 360 HDD also makes a lot of difference since there is no laser reading, there is no trapped heat between the drive and the mobo

  6. Well, from what I've seen, the cooler has really made a difference. I would say it's cooling the 360 at least 75% more than usual, which is more than enough for me  You can clearly feel the heated air that thing puts out and away from the console, and the bottom part (bottom of the motherboard) doesn't feel as hot as it used to, hence the percentage :(

Edit: I did a whole lotta research before buying this, and came to a conclusion that the people who feel this isn't required or doesn't make any difference are either from a country where the climate is really cold or their 360s are running in an air conditioned room :O

I've spoken to quite a few people on the internet who either live in a tropical climate or don't have an air conditioned room, and their room temperatures are somewhat equivalent to Indian temperatures, and they said the Intercooler actually really did make a difference :)

  7. Nyko Intercooler TS

    fjf5e1.jpg

Ordered it via KMD. Costed me 2 grand, but it's really worth it. Keeps the console really cool when the climate gets really hot during afternoon gaming sessions :). Automatically turns off when the console is cool enough :O

Got really lucky with the power adapter too, it turned out to support an input of 100v to 240v, so it's working without any stepdown converters, just plug and play :(

  8. me frnd bought new p220 black colour, awesome bike i tell u...

    for 80000 :O

I would love to go with 220, but the average will be less right ? I think 150 would be more than enough for me, and average is also good comparatively

A few of my friends are still saying "Pulsar ek sal ke bad dabba ban jayegi - sab kuch dhila dhala ho jaye ga" This is very confusing :chair: Sometimes I think they are over exaggerating.

  9. you're friend might be having the old one cause even though the 150 was launched with the 180(they both have the same looks i.e. similar to the 200) it's delivery began very late............

So how do we differentiate the old with the new ?

Edit: I got this off Wikipedia...

Bajaj released the UG IV (fourth upgrade) versions of the Pulsar 150 and Pulsar 180 in April 2009. The upgrades for the Pulsar 150 included an all-black theme, tank scoops similar to those on the Pulsar 200, a 3D Pulsar logo, and a changed electrical system. The Pulsar 180 received upgrades like wider tyres, split seat, tank scoops, clip-on handlebars, 3D Pulsar logo, swing arm suspension borrowed from Pulsar 200, and thicker forks. The power was increased to 17 PS.[12]

Bajaj launched a carbureted version of Pulsar 220 on June 2009, tagging it as "the fastest bike in India".It also discontinued the production of Pulsar 200 on July 2009.

and if those are you're only options then don't even think about the cbz.....

    I didn't get this part. :(

  10. dude the bike you're talking about is already here................ it's been almost 6 months!!!!! :D

Really....great. :band: My friend just bought a 150 cc pulsar less than 2 months ago, so I guess he has that model

Anyways, can someone help me with the Cons of Pulsar that I've mentioned ?

  11. Details are kinda sketchy..but its gonna get cosmetic upgrades like all black engine and alloy treatment and Pulsar 200 tank extensions. The 180 will borrow parts from the 200/200 like the swing-arm etc...

Also,i suggest u TD the Honda Unicorn...its brilliant!!!

Thanx for the reply. I also checked out xbhp forum. Will be posting this there soon to check out what they have to say :D

Also, any idea when this new model will be coming and are there going to be any modifications to the 150 cc model :band:

Also, about the Unicorn, a few of my relatives did recommend that. I have yet to test drive it and gather some more info on it. Any idea how much mileage it gives ? and whats it's cost ?

    Thanx buddy

  12. Dude, take this to the XBHP forums. just saying. im sure uve heard of it.

I don't know that forum. In fact, IVG is the only Indian forum I am active on. I know there is TE, but am hardly ever on it.

    +1 for the Pulsar

I've had one since 2005....its being treated like dirt...but is still sturdy as ever. Also survived a bike accident on it...after just replacing the Handlebar and shock absorbers..its good as new.Has good acceleration and top speed...is comfortable until u brake very hard suddenly and crash ur nuts on the fuel tank!!!

Get the 150/200 or if u can wait it out, there is a new one coming as well!!

That really made me laugh...hahahaha

Hey dude....do you have any info on the newer model of Pulsar ? Like the looks and how much CC is it going to be. The reason am asking is coz I can't go higher than 150 cc coz of mileage and obvoiusly maintenance.

Thanx a lot for the help. Really appreciate it :)

  13. Hi guys,

I need your suggestion. I've decided to buy a bike and now am stuck between two of them. Bajaj Pulsar 150cc (latest model) OR CBZ Xtreme. Which one would you guys recommend and why ?

So far, I've spoken to quite a few people, friends, relatives., etc. Some say Pulsar and some say CBZ. Here are the pros and cons I've gathered so far...

    Bajaj Pulsar

    Pros

    1. Looks so much better than CBZ Xtreme.

    2. Average is comparable to CBZ - am guessing 50 to 55.

    3. Comfort wise is better than CBZ (personal experience).

    Cons.

    1. According to people, after 1 year, it's body gets fuggly, in hindi we say - dhili dhali.

    2. Not as sturdy as any Hero Honda bike (CBZ Xtreme).

    3. Maintenance may be higher than that of CBZ Xtreme.

    CBZ Xtreme

    Pros

    1. Average is good - assuming 50 to 55.

    2. Maintenance is very low.

    Cons.

    1. Can't think of any Cons except the bike model is very old, like in 1995s, etc., but thats not an issue.

To tell you guys the truth, this is all SPECULATION. What I've heard from other people. I personally am inclining towards a Pulsar coz it looks SO MUCH BETTER than CBZ Xtreme. If it weren't for it's cons, I wouldn't even be making this thread

If any of you guys could shed some light on the cons of Pulsar, then please do so. It would be much appreciated.

Thanx a lot in advance. Desperately waiting for a reply

  14. guys just bought a new digi cam CANON SD960 IS

great cam makes HI DEF video and gr8 picture quality and even has a HDMI out  ........................costed me around 18 k ................... :bicycle:

Congrats dude...AWESOME PURCHASE :wallbash: I have to get meself a really good camera too, but am broke right now :(

I was wondering though why the writings were flipped, then realized you took the pictures in front of a mirror :ack:

  15. My wait of 2 years is finally over!!!

Went thru a lot of blood, sweat and tears and sh*t for this

    But its so worth it!!!

    Congrats Snake!!!

Question - Why this one ? Why not the slim one that's out ? Don't like the looks ? or did you get a really good offer on this one

    Just curious :threatenlumber:

  16. @Gaara: Camera is 30K

Hilt is made of metallic and comes with a built-in speaker that recognizes gestures producing the WUM WUM WUUH sound, while the saber itself is made of glass. Looks to be pretty fragile, actually. Fortunately, a stand is also bundled.

    last pic :D

Wow...they just made that thing PERFECT with those wum wum sounds :P EPIC!!!

Wonder whether they've given you some addons or buttons, etc., to change the color of the saber :P If yes, then change it to Phantom Red :P

Edit: You should definitely wear a costume man and get down on the roads and scare the sh*t outta few people :P....look look mommy an Alien :P Just let them know who you are if they charge at ya. Don't wanna damage the saber :D

  17. Nixon DX-40

Hmm...how much does it cost ?

Anyways, I just saw the pics, the lightsaber, it's made of glass/plastic ? How durable/fragile is it ? What if you accidentally bang it against a corner wall or something :P Man that thing looks COOL!!! :P

Edit: Does it make those wum wum sounds when you thrust it around :P

Edit II: What a light show :D Pretty darn good job done by the camera. What it must be like to actually see it in action :D

Edit III: Which one of those is you ? :P

  18. i love this phone ! congrats !!!! wish i had the monies !!!! :)
