  1. thanks a lot joe cool. This is extremely helpful

could you copy paste the same reply in the topic i created in techzone? http://www.indianvideogamer.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=49810 so in future if people had similar doubts they could just read what you have said and make use of the information.

Why don't you just quote him over there :)

Click quote here and then cut and paste his quote in that thread. Simple as that :)

  2. How's the gigabyte twin turbo edition of gtx 970? Heard the blower on the card is too loud. Is it true?

Sent from my A0001 using Tapatalk

    Reviews aren't that great....

    https://www.reddit.com/r/nvidia/comments/3mfk7c/gigabyte_gtx_970_twin_turbo_first_impressions_not/

Why don't you just get the MSI or ASUS versions? They have this new silent feature where the fans only start spinning when the temp reaches 60c. They can be configured manually too. I don't prefer having my Asus Strix card running that hot, so when am running a GPU intensive game like Shadow of Mordor or Witcher 3, I prefer setting it at 60%.

Nonetheless, even at 60%, my fans aren't that loud :) and at 60%, AT MAX GPU LOAD, my card NEVER GOES ABOVE 66c or 67c :)

I guess the Gigabyte Twin Turbo just uses a very loud fan as in reviews, even when the fan is running at 20% (which is ALL THE TIME), it's pretty loud.

  3.

    Feminists would riot over that.

As for the query, I think Moto E and Redmi are the only decent ones in that range (will be a bit above 6k probably). Correct me if I'm wrong.

    Lol.

Yes, I am insisting him on increasing the budget a little bit. I have my eyes on these...

    http://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=7480&idPhone2=7197&idPhone3=7142

Am not sure whether I should go with Micromax.

In the above comparison, the Redmi 2 Prime and Lenovo A6000 Plus are ALMOST IDENTICAL. Price is also the same on flipkart, and currently, there is an offer going on (5% off on all CC/DC), so both of them are coming down to Rs. 6600.

    Which one would you recommend?

    Also, any other recommendations?

By the way, Moto E Second Gen is available for Rs. 5455 on Amazon but giving anyone a phone with 1 Gb ram in this day and age is a crime.

Edit: Bought Redmi 2 Prime :)

  4. Is there any armor that looks cool? I dont care about stats.

Everything I have found or had made so far looks really lame.

Compared to what I've had so far, I really liked the Cat/Feline armor. NOT the enhanced or superior version. The standard/first version looked really cool with his arm sleeves cut short or rolled up [emoji1]

    This one...

  5. I GOT'EM! :happydance: I GOT ALL OF EM

After rescuing and buying all the cards from the Claywich Merchant, the quest still did not complete. So I referred to this website...

    http://gwentcards.com/

    And I also referred this...

Gwent Cards in Printable A4 Sheets - Imgur

    http://imgur.com/a/jX4nR/embed?background=fff&amp%3Bamp%3Blink=e80#0

After cross referencing my available cards, I found out that I was missing the Vampire - Felder card. Referred to the gwentcards.com website and found out that it's available for purchase at an innkeeper at Harviken, Skellige.

Went to that place, found the innkeeper, and bought the last four cards from him :D

THEN AND THERE, I got the "Collect 'Em All" quest complete notification :D

Edit: By the way, I am on the latest patch, 1.12.1 :)

  6. Achievement in the sense, the "Collect Em All" quest is still showing as ongoing and is NOT COMPLETED.

Right now am trying to find a complete and up-to-date list of all the Gwent cards that are supposed to be in the game so I can crosscheck whether I have all the cards.

@WhiteWolf, really don't care about the achievement. I just want ALL THE GWENT CARDS :D I've fallen in love with Gwent, and once I have all the Gwent cards, then I can start messing around with other decks. Right now, am just using the Nilfgaardian deck and absolutely annihilating everyone :P Would love to check out the other decks, but I don't wanna do that with missing essential cards :P

Edit: Okay, I did a lot of reading and realized that I think I might be missing the cards sold by the "Claywitch Merchant" which I need to rescue first. Just saw the video and I DO NOT remember doing any of that :P Will do it and report back :D

  7. Need help with Gwent cards. I have completed the main quests in Velen and Novigrad. I think I have completed all or most of the secondary quests in both Velen and Novigrad.

Right now I am in Skellige and completed some of its secondary quests and a few of the main quests.

Most importantly, I have completed ALL THE GWENT QUESTS, all of them. The unique cards that you get from them and also the Gwent High Stakes Tournament, and I won them all.

You see the problem is, quite recently in Skellige, winning a gwent game with merchants and traders and blacksmiths, THEY ARE NOT GIVING ME Gwent cards anymore. I am 100% sure am playing the traders for the first time coz I JUST NOW visited the area for the first time but still they are not giving the cards anymore.

You see the thing is, I know there is a "pool" of Gwent cards and there are limited number of cards in that pool. Which means I have exhausted that "pool" but I STILL HAVEN'T GOT THE Collect Em All achievement :(

The only logical reason for this is maybe there is a trader that is SELLING some cards, which I need to visit him and buy from there. Problem is I don't know which traders I need to visit to buy the rest of the cards :(

    Any suggestions?

Edit: Oh and by the way, am currently on 1.12 and right now downloading 1.12.1.

  8. Dispatched! :(

Dude, chill. You ordered it from Amazon and hopefully from an "Amazon Fulfilled" seller. You can return the item EVEN AFTER opening it up without giving any valid reason :P

It's Amazon. They are pretty cool when it comes to returns. Just, if you're not gonna use it, don't open it. I mean it will be accepted and you'll be refunded the whole amount, but why screw with the seller, right :)

Just call them and tell them you wanna buy something better or a higher model, etc. You don't even need to do anything. They'll come pick it up :)

  9. Can i use this for my mtnl wifi connection, by just replacing my mtnl wifi router with this one ?

No. It won't work only by itself.

MTNL uses ADSL2 protocol, so you either need a Wifi router that has ADSL2 BUILT-IN OR you need a standard ADSL2 router, connect the MTNL line to that router and then connect that router to the above mentioned TPLink router :)

So, if you have a regular ADSL2 router lying around, then you can go ahead and purchase the above wifi router, connect your MTNL link to the ADSL2 router, and then connect that router to the above wifi router :)

But it is always recommended (for MTNL/BSNL) to just get an ADSL2 Wifi router to reduce clutter and unexpected errors, etc.

  10. Thats hell of a power you are using bro.:-)i don't need this much.i have i5 6400,gigabyte b150m d3h,wd 1tb,8gb ram,dell s2216h,seasonic s12ii 520w.I will buy gpu later probably pascal.

    So i need 800va ups or 1000va?

Well, it's not specifically for my PC. It's powering my 2BHK home, but since it's just me and my wife, we barely use 2 tubes and 2 fans at any given time.

Last time I did some research as to HOW MUCH WATTS a 900va can provide AT ONCE, I calculated somewhere around 550 to 600 watts. So you can use the calculation that a 900va can provide CONTINUOUS 550+ watts if so desired by your PC, given of course you have a battery big enough to sustain that kind of "requirement" by the UPS.

So, you can calculate and come to the conclusion that an 800va can provide a CONTINUOUS AND STEADY 500+ watts and a 1000va will definitely provide UPWARDS OF CONTINUOUS 600+ watts. The duration of such "sustenance" will be dictated by how big of a battery you have with that UPS.

If you don't wanna game for longer periods of time during any power failure and only want 15 or 20 mins of backup so you can save your game and shutdown your PC, then even a small battery (that comes with standard APC UPS builtin) will also suffice :)

  11. The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition FREE ON XBOX 360

    http://marketplace.xbox.com/en-US/Product/The-Witcher-2-Assassins-of-Kings/66acd000-77fe-1000-9115-d80257520824

Currently seems to be US only but has been announced for US, Canada, France, Germany and UK.

I don't know how these things work. Never had Xbox Live. So, keep trying or keep an eye out for this :)

It isn't listed under games for gold. Meaning anyone, including free players can grab Witcher 2 for free :)

  12. Thanks a lot.How about luminous, microtek,intex ups?Basically looking for a locally serviceable ups.Btw you use 800va or 1000va?

I am using a Luminous 900va UPS cum Inverter that powers a few tubes and fans of my house ALONG WITH my PC (see specs in the sig). If I run just a fan and my PC, I can even game with my GTX 970 ON MAX LOAD :)

Any more load like a tube and two fans, etc., and the PC works just fine, but I can't game. If I try to game with tubes and two fans on inverter, my system shuts down.

Even after it shuts down, I can turn my PC back on and do regular stuff like working on MS Word and browsing using Firefox, watching a movie, etc., but NOTHING GPU INTENSIVE :)

Edit: Oh and by the way, my Luminous 900va inverter is connected to this...

    sf-power-box1.jpg

It's a SF Sonic 180 Amp battery :) I can easily game on this for 4 to 5 hours nonstop without power, but I try to avoid that :)

  13. Hey guys I need some help in deciding which laptop to buy from US.

I need the laptop for work and general use only.

Any suggestions on what I should opt for?

I would suggest you at least go for a Core i5 processor with minimum 4 Gb ram (8 Gb would be better) and at least a system with 1 TB HDD space :) Rest depends upon your choice :)

  14.

That's happened to me too but only 2 or 3 times so far. It's super rare. Given the scale of the game, it's understandable.

Once I was fighting a bandit in Novigrad city, and he went through a closed gate. I obviously couldn't phase through and follow, so I moved a few steps back and he came out and I killed him [emoji1]
