    IMAX.... at Prasad's booked. Let's see How good the Movie TFA is, On possibly the Best Screen in India.

    The worst thing about it is the subtitles, which is RIDICULOUS and utterly distracting. Was visiting HYD and saw 3 to 4 movies during my time there at Prasad. All had subtitles. THANK GOD WE DON'T HAVE THEM HERE.

    Why are you punishing your card so much?

     

    I did OC just for one game - Shadow of Mordor - and it's the ONE GAME that actually benefited from the OC. I saw a lot of improvement in gameplay, like no more stutters or drops in FPS.

     

    Was doing OC in Witcher 3, just for the heck of it :P. Besides, am just doing minor OC and increasing the clock speeds in Afterburner WITHOUT messing with the bios or overvolting, which actually puts strain on the hardware.

     

    I did a LOT OF READING on the internet/forums, and minor OC like this is not harmful. It just creates more heat/increased temps, but if you can manage the temps, you should be okay.

     

    Increasing the voltage/overvolting puts extra strain on the hardware, which it was not meant to, so avoid doing that. Rest simple OCs in Afterburner should be fine.

     

    By the way, played a few more hours of Witcher 3, and it worked super smooth without any crashes :D

    It may not be that stable than. Witcher 3 pushes the gpu really hard.. Anyways enjoy the game ☺

     

    The OC is quite stable. Finished Shadow of Mordor GOTY with that OC without any crashes, etc.

     

    I also searched on the internet, reddit, other forums where they said it's mostly due to "memory leaks", so even if you have a stable OC, it would still crash.

     

    Some people are actually DOWNCLOCKING their GPUs by -100 Mhz for a stable Witcher 3 experience.

    Just try and see

    I have this game and the same version as yours

    Runs smooth no problem on 960

    So either its a driver or your oc issue

     

    Stable over-clocks on other games do not transfer to other software and cannot be used as a yardstick for all situations. Strongly urge you to consider rolling back to stock and see if the game behaves.

     

    Well, runs great on stock :D I played for an hour without problems :D

    Edit: Weird that a stable OC would cause such a crash.

    Hi Guys,

     

    A friend of mine is interested in getting into DSLRs, and his cousin is also in Dubai right now, so he was thinking of getting a DSLR from Dubai at a good price.

     

    He's a COMPLETE NOOB and still has a lot to learn when it comes to DSLRs. Which camera, lens, etc., would you guys suggest he buy?

     

    Also, any sites and forums he can check out for gaining more knowledge about DSLRs?

    ^^ I would suggest to run the game without ocing 1st at stock temps and clock

    Since its 970 4gb it should still run at stable 1080p@60fps

     

    I highly doubt it's my OC, and from the time I've had this card, the temps have NEVER gone above 69. I've made sure of that :)

    Hi guys,

     

    I have the GOG version with the latest update v1.10 installed. About 30 mins or 1 hour in the game, the screen would turn BLANK/BLACK with sound still running in the background. It is really irritating and the only way out of it is a HARD RESET, which I really hate doing.

     

    I am running Windows 10 Pro 64 Bit and have the latest Nvidia drivers installed, v361.43.

     

    I have all the settings set to ULTRA with Hairworks on for Geralt @ 4x.

     

    I thought it was my OC, but GTX 970 OC'd to +200 Core Clock and +500 Memory Clock RUNS VERY STABLE on Shadow of Mordor (ALL ULTRA) AND Unigine Heaven AND 3DMark Firestrike Extreme.

     

    Just to see how stable my OC was, I benchmarked using Firestrike Extreme.

     

    Here's my OC of +200 and +500 on Firestrike Extreme...

    I went A STEP FURTHER and increased the OC to +220 Core Clock and +500 Memory Clock on stock voltage settings.

     

    Firestrike Extreme was SMOOTH and PERFECT without any issues with the below scores...

    With just +20 in my Core Clock and without messing with any voltage settings, my Firestrike score JUMPED BY 160 POINTS, and all this was very stable and smooth without any artifacts or problems, etc.,

     

    Now, I SERIOUSLY DOUBT there is anything wrong with my card or my OC. Even the temps didn't go above 64C with fans always on at 60% capacity.

     

    Sometimes, the game would BLACK SCREEN on me even while I am in the pause menu.

     

    What's going wrong here? Please help.

    Finished Arrow Season 3. Whoever said it's not good and to fast forward it, I don't believe you. It might not be as good as Season 2 but it was REALLY GOOD on its own and I absolutely loved it.

     

    Am currently on Season 4, and it's HANDSDOWN AWESOME!

     

    I've always liked Neal McDonough, and now I like him even more. He's just FANTASTIC as Damien Dark :D

     

    Am just glad to have caught up with Arrow. Absolutely love both Flash and Arrow :D

     

    Just finished watching Season 4 Episode 5 - Am still going :wOOtjumpy:

    Independence Day is one of my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE movies :D I still remember the day my dad took me to the theater to watch this movie :D

     

    I wish they could've pulled Will Smith too in this one. I know he just played a dumb pilot in the first one, but still. He's pretty good :)

    I don't know much about R9 380, but if you take a look at this...

    The GTX 970 wins in comparison.

     

    I personally own a GTX 970 and you would not believe how easy it is to OC this card. I can easily OC my card to 1500 mhz core clock and 8000 mhz memory clock speeds.

     

    As far as mobo goes, you can get any H97 series motherboard, be it Gigabyte, MSI, or ASUS.

     

    If you intend to OC your CPU, then I would suggest you get a Z97 series motherboard.

     

    If not interested in OCing your CPU, then the H97 series should suffice :)

    This is the owner's number, and if yours is still within warranty, then he'll guide you on how to do it.

     

    Since you might have to courier it to him and with the PSU being HEAVY, insist on courier charges to be paid by him. See what happens on this end. Ask if he can arrange a pickup or at least reimburse you the courier charges :)

     

    By the way, how did your PSU "go out" ?

    Need a Oneplus 2 invite.

     

    Problem is I already have 25k Gift Card balance in my Amazon.in account, so need an invite which I can use on my account.

     

    I think it should work because I recently gave my invite to a friend and it outright worked on his account and he bought it.
