  1. Started this game today on ps5 (thanks to ps+ essentials), the opening act was good - almost like a summer blockbuster movie. Playing as a human/warrior, the gfx are all cartoony , last da game I played was da1 on ps3, this doesn’t seem anything like it !
  2. Loved that game, super chill vibes and a great game to relax after a work day !! I’m currently playing Indiana jones on pc. Playing a bit of batman Arkham knight on ps5 - although the dated ps4 gfx in the open areas and the constant Batmobile sections is making it a bit hard to enjoy !
  3. Completed cross on prime video, not as good as reacher or Bosch , but ok, some twists at the end was kinda surprising. I think they spent the entire first season establishing the character and his relationships, maybe the next seasons would be more interesting !!

    Indiana Jones

Completed the Vatican level, onto Gizeh level now, hope I get to visit one of those pyramids !
  5. Don’t know about avowed, but Starfield was indeed average, mainly due to a weak main quest and an outdated game engine. Many side quests and writing was good though. All 1p games of MS are not bad though, playing Indiana jones currently and so far it’s been awesome, any fan of games like uncharted or tomb raider would love this, bonus if you’re a fan of the movies too ! Even the recent cod game was good (since you can call it ms 1p game now). Also don’t forget there’s doom: dark ages releasing soon. It has blockbuster written all over it !

    Indiana Jones

So, spent few hours and I’m in love with this game. The Vatican level is so beautifully crafted with so many hidden doors and passages. So far it’s not been a set piece heavy game like uncharted or tomb raider, but this game has its own charm. I’m looking into side quests and mysteries now, they are not too difficult so it’s been quite a good passtime to solve.

    Indiana Jones

Started it few days back, still early in game, the game is demanding. I’m unable to go beyond medium at 2k with my 3060ti. The game looks pretty and plays well. The adventure part is spot on. Only one nitpick is the jump from 1p to 3p and vice versa in platforming. I find it jarring. BTW, do I need to complete all the mysteries and side quests as and when they come or do I get a chance later on to visit previous levels ? The game looks semi open world hence the question !
  8. I think that’s the mindset issue, I’m only talking from an affordability point of view.
  9. PC gaming in the current gen is in its best form in ages. With such affordable prices of pc gamepass +free games on egs etc, I can’t think of any reason ppl want to pirate, I mean it costs more for a movie outing in a tier1 city than a pc gamepass sub now 😂 If anything, the only issue I’ve is time, there’s so many choices, it’s insane. Wish I had these options like a decade ago when I had more time on my hands !

    Days Gone

Hmmm, will have to play the base version itself I guess, not planning to buy this again ….Or maybe they’ll release days gone 2 someday ! Also never bothered with it looking at the reviews and trailers back in the day, surprised the game has good reviews here !

Would the $10 upgrade work for ppl who have the ps4 game in their library as part of the ps+ essentials ?

    Avowed

How’s that even a valid reason to diss a game ? So what if the authority characters (most are npcs as per that video) are women ? It’s 2025 now and some ppl just can’t get out of their regressive 1950’s mindset !!

I’m not even surprised anymore, games broken on day 1 is almost a rule these days, not an exception that’s why I always play after few patches are released to get the best experience !

Anybody tried it yet ? The gfx looks good and the game seems to be good as well, reviews are glowing. Personally I’ll play after a few months after they release few patches based on early feedback. Still have Indiana jones in my backlog to complete. So many games, so little time *sigh*
  15. Come to think of it now, looks like Disney took a bad bet by ending the first arc with endgame, they could’ve made a couple of billions more with few more stories of the avengers before calling it a day. Once the main arc got over, ppl just lost interest in the superhero movies
  16. Isn’t brave new world sequel to that tv show falcon and winter soldier ?
  17. add life is strange true colours to the list as well, it’s one of the most chilled/relaxing + whodunit game….
  18. Hehe, i can understand, i like such larger than life portrayals with crazy action. Also I saw the movie with minimal expectations since some ppl had given similar reviews, but I was hooked until the very end. So to each his own I guess 😂
  19. Quite a coincidence, even I’m playing this currently on ps5…. Still in early levels though ….
  20. I didn’t feel that there was anything overly suggestive or explicit, usual romantic stuff you see in regular Bollywood movies. But it’s pretty long like 3h45m, so make sure you start early evening or whenever you’ve a big block of time !
  21. RDR was in third person though, does the first person camera work ? I saw one fight video where only a section of screen is visible (assuming it was done to simulate that the guy was wearing a helmet/visor) ? Doesn’t that give motion sickness ?
  22. Saw Pushpa 2 on Netflix. Mind blown 🤯 what a powerhouse performance, it’s like 3.75 hours but never found it boring, fights are unrealistic but dang if they don’t give you goosebumps …. esp the climax fight sequence. I should’ve watched it in theatre …. If I’ve to really nitpick I didn’t like the abrupt ending of the Shekhawat arc ! Also saw Mrs on zee 5, very different kind of movie and tackles some deep rooted societal issues, it’s a slow burn , also they have some really elegant snippets of various interesting Indian dishes and its prep thruout the movie …. made me quite hungry once i was done watching it !
  23. So completed this game today on pc/gamepass. I would say not bad for a AA game. It’s not as hard as souls games, has a decent story to keep you engaged, and good gameplay/level variety and even enemies have quite a varied moveset. Boss fights especially are cool except the last one which was very chaotic. The gameplay has some variety with guns and sword combined with some magic stuff from your companion (enki) ….progression system is decent enough too. Overall good one time play if you can overlook some of the AA jank at some places…. It took me around 15 hours to complete, I didn’t finish all side quests though!
  24. PC (gamepass) : Just finished flintlock siege of dawn. Started with Titanfall 2, had heard a lot about this game never tried it. Saw it on gamepass recently and decided to give it a go. Gfx isn’t bad for such an old game , gameplay seems tight too. But just started it let’s see how it goes ! PS5 : Batman Arkham knight and Detroit being human. I had got both as part of ps+essentials monthly free games long back. Decided to give both a try now. Arkham knight has annoying Batmobile sections while Detroit: being human seems awesome.
  25. This looks so good , the setting looks pretty novel, hope the actual game is engaging too. Awesome that it’s on gamepass , can try it without breaking a sweat
