Might I suggest the Harry Potter series?

I would actually suggest picking up the Hercule Poirot short stories collection - 50 of his best.
If you're interested in sci-fi - Dune, Ender's Game, any Philip K Dick.
Thrillers - Dick Francis novels are ok.
anything in sidney sheldon/Jeffrey Archer style ? I've seen Bourne Trilogy movies, so don't know if books will be as interesting !

any recommendations for a long travel ? I like fiction (spy thrillers and stuff) and sidney sheldon-esque drama stuff ! Don't want anything too heavy....
pls recommend something i can buy and which'll be available in popular stores(like higgin botthams etc) currently. Its ages since I've visited a book store and I'm sure I'll not know what to pick !

Morgan Freeman was at his best in that movie as well as Tim Robbins.
Yeah....remember the final interview he has with that young police officer ? It was so poignant !

the gym glitch of GTA SA - u go to gym in ganton, spawn a jetpack and fly up, the above roof is not solid and u can go thru it. if you go in certain directoions, you reach Liberty city !

^^ there were some rumours that some R* devs put some glitches knowingly, remember the gym glitch in SA where u could go to liberty city

totally, by 600,000 copies ! But the fact remains that halo sold around 3 million only on X360, while GTA IV sold on both PS3 and X360 combined. Another fact is T2 ran out of stock unable to fulfill the remaining 3 million orders to retailers.
but yeah, in all GTA IV reigns supreme in video games sales in first week

A New York Times article claims that Take-Two will be announcing this incredible news for Grand Theft Auto IV sales. 6 million copies sold, 3.6 the first day.
Extremely pleasing news for the publisher. Rockstar and Sony are also releasing a game patch to help multiplayer issues by reducing the load stress on servers.
Take-Two's stock closed Tuesday at $26.35 a share, if you've been keeping up on the EA bid you'd know they have an offer of $26 a share. With the huge news of mega sales for Rockstar's latest prodigy the only way is up for share value.
While the corporations may be having fun some gamers still aren't, the patch being released is designed to help prevent players losing connection to online PS3 matches in GTAIV. This patch will help by "reducing the loads on the servers at GameSpy and hopefully the completely random hangs that some users have seen".
Random crashes have plagued some PS3's too, Take-Two's technical support advised deleting the game data and to work through the installation again as a possible solution.

^^ I actually hated Shia LeBeouf in "I Robot" and "Constantine". However he gave an amazing performance in "The Greatest Game Ever Played". But "Transformers" made me completely change my mind about the actor. He was very good in that role.
I've seen both the movies, but don't remember what role he played though !

^^ i wouldnt call GTA SA addictive .. GTA VC was far more addictive and the original GTA was far more addictive then any of the later GTA titles ..

btw, look at the irony, I got X360 to ensure I get to play GTA IV on time with everyone else....but cnow I can't play it for another 2 months
