I WANT GTA IV

wonder if this will get GOTY or will it go the Bishock / Portal way?
dude....bioshock and portal are good games but not blockbusters like GTA or halo !
GTA IV has very good chances of winning GOTY, unless the plumber spoils the party again

only two things bother me:
1. game is relatively easy also very easy to get away from cops
2. Niko apologizes to his victims !
Looks like Tommy will be last mean bad a*s character amongst all GTA games !

I've dreamed twice about GTA IV

@neo wat side activity is taken out compared to SA
also did u see the pool game in the GT review?? looked awesome like virtual pool 2
hmmm not sure if they are taken out, but didn't hear anything regarding the below (or something equivalent) so far (or maybe i missed out as I'm avoiding many reviews) !
1. Paramedic, Vigilante, Taxi driver
2. Export-import
3. Horse racing
4. Territory acquisition
5. lowrider missions
6. Basketball (well this was pretty lame in GTA SA, so won't miss it much though)
7. unique collectibles like horseshoe, tagging, oysters, photos etc etc
8. Training school missions
9. Burglary missions
10. casino games like poker, blackjack etc

but looks like the side activities are reduced in da game compared to GTA SA ! The side activities I noted were:
1. dart
2. pool
3. lapdance
4. drunk driving
5. internet dating
6. bowling

Watched the GameTrailers review....and the game just f**king OWNS
which only makes the wait even more harder

The coolest future scenario would be using solid state drive technology in a cartridge format, like the kick-a*s N64 days.
Precisely one of the main reasons why N64 lost out to PS1. They have more disadvantages than advantages compared to optical media !

C'mon, it's inevitable. The next-gen of MS' console will ship with an HDD what with devs bitching. If it leads to faster, smoother gamplay i don't see the problem.
problem happens when ur HDD is full and to play a new game, u got to uninstall some old game. And just when u want to play that old game again, u have to sit thru a installation process and keep rotating your game installs. The pop-in-disc-and-play advantage of consoles vs PCs is literally gone !

looks like 2004 all over again, when GTA SA released and we had to be just content with watching the stunt/gameplay videos until the game released on PC in 2005 !

I just come back from my vacation and what do I see - IGN gives GTA 4 10/10 :shock3:
