Ultimate sakapatate boss fight was tough and funny at the same time lol 😂 ,the guy was hitting hard but I couldn’t help giggling throughout, I found it to be much harder than the clowns I fought in the arena later lol ! The game has a wicked sense of humour 😂

Man that battle with goblu was hard , if anybody is stuck there, what worked for me was to dodge and not parry. Just time the dodges with his landings when it starts jumping !

Please tell me you don’t write performance appraisals for other ppl in real life

Try bumping it down to 2k, I’m playing at 2k, runs super smooth on my pc and my card is like quite aged now -3060ti. With a 4080, the game should run much better for you at 2k with everything maxed out.

Outside the hut there was a chest, I think it’s called a cage in the game. I had to find some stuff to open it. I guess now I’ve come much further ! Yeah, switched back to normal now. At level 8 or I think 9 now and able to take down even big bosses without losing too much health. Key is to use parry correctly I guess ! Thanks. I think the saving at this flag locations kinda overwrites a save slot as the boss fights an anyway trigger one save !

I’m on normal but bumped it down to easy to make progress at a couple of points. Problem with easy is little to no challenge and takes the fun away from the game. How are you able to create multiple saves ? I see only auto save enabled for me. Also btw, found that rare chest before the hut in that flying waters level, any idea if I’ll get the keys to open it later ? If not, can I come back to it later ?

Started this game on pc/gamepass, quite good tbh. The end of prologue was totally unexpected, playing thru act 1, currently in that flying waters level. The game is quite tough though, until you master dodge/parry. The TBS mechanics seems simple for now, let’s see how it looks when the party is full (assuming lot many allies would get added as the game progresses) !! Also the game runs super smooth on my pc at 1440p.

Biggest problem I find in most borderland games, at least the two games that I tried - borderlines2 and 3 was that the initial gear is so shitty and the enemy drops you get for the initial levels are so bad and enemies are so strong that it just take the joy out of the game in the initial levels itself. Hope this game balances this issue and has a decent load out in the beginning !

Hmm , I’ll stick to it then, also I found it tough to follow after such a long gap especially considering how cerebral the show is. Had to watch a se01 recap video on yt , still I’m lost at times !

Watching severance season 2, finished episode 1 and midway thru ep02, so far it’s been kinda lukewarm/boring. Does it get better ?

I think ppl here have a very archaic understanding of tbs games. Think of modern day turn-based games like chess with mocap animations. It’s less about twitch reflexes and more about outsmarting your opponent. You’re not just button mashing; you’re outwitting, outmaneuvering, and occasionally wiping the floor with style. Once the strategy clicks, every boss fight feels like a mic drop. For me, the introduction to tbs was thru like a dragon. Honestly playing ff16 after ff7: remake(even with its partial tbs), felt like such a bore.

Have you never played turn based game before ? These games are like playing a board game, like you roll dice and select your move. Most jrpgs(including FF) played like this before they transitioned to real time action !

Binged three episodes of friends and neighbours. John hamm is a class act, like seriously the guy can play any role to perfection ! Also Olivia munn …. Loved her in newsroom and she’s so much better here hate these weekly episode thingy on apple+, will wait for all episodes to land for both friends and neighbours and the studio ! Also, watched a couple of shows recently: 1. Completed Season one of the White Lotus And Watching season 2 now, season 1 was quite good, se02 is still building up, still in 3rd episode ! 2. Finished up all seasons off cobra Kai, pretty good, although the final few episodes were a little too peppy, but I loved that they put the focus back into cobra Kai instead of miyagi do, some good writing, especially character development for all involved, overall all a good show with some decent amount of karate as long as you can tolerate all the drama!! Also in other news, Bosch legacy final season is out on prime video…. sad that the show is ending, but overall 9 seasons(including main Bosch) was a pretty long run I guess !!

To me, it sounded like that side quest of lady masako in GoT where she’s out to get revenge !

How many games do you play at a time dude ? Where do you find the time ? Are you like a full time / pro gamer+ yt streamer ?

Thanks, back from vacation the day before, visited Gangtok, lachen and lachung. Out of the 5 days, ~2 days were spent in travel between towns due to the mountainous terrain and narrow roads. I found Sikkim to be awesome in general though, gorgeous vistas, cold weather (with snow in many places) and clean cities, felt like I was transported to a completely different part of the world. Sometimes I couldn’t believe such a beautiful place was sitting right in our country while I was scouting for places abroad. The hotels were quite affordable too.

Reposting for new page !!

Visiting Sikkim/Darjeeling, en route actually, spending the next 7 days there. Itinerary is mostly made with the help of travel agent, but if there’s any must see spots please let me know.

AC: Odyssey on pc/gamepass DA: veilguard on ps5

I think baar baar dekho had similar timeloop concept ? It was more famous for its catchy songs though
-
It was quite tempting to do that 😂 , I got some 100 points for siding with him, I thought he would help out later, but not really. He just got eliminated by that boss at the end !!
-
You mean the first warden ? I chose the option of reasoning with him.

I felt the best visuals are in that forest area and that coastal area. That Harding quest area(Dwarven mining) was good too, very reminiscent of lotr setting!

Completed The Seige of Weisshaupt main quest. It was alright, a little too intense for my liking - so many enemies spawning left and right. The boss fight at the end of the quest was a let down as well. Also, just checked a walkthrough to see how far I’m into the game and looks like this is just the mid point. I’ve already spent over 30 hours. Looks like a 60-70 hour game with side quests !

Completed ‘the waiting stone’ quest of Harding yesterday. Visited those dwarven mines as part of that quest and man, the architecture was so good. I felt it was designed based on what we got to see in the LOTR movies. Generally, I’m quite impressed with the variety of maps in the game. Of course they are all small and disjoint and need fast travel to visit them(many of them are vertical instead of wide areas) as compared to other open world games, but each is designed very differently with its own theme etc.
