^^ I found gulabo/sitabo incredibly boring dude. If I've to sum it up in one line - its a movie about literally nothing ! The characters are well etched and played to perfection, no complaints there. But I didn't find their interactions that amusing or the circumstances that entertaining. Also, the whole movie wears a very somber look for something that's supposed to be a comedy movie. The ending was kinda well done and makes up to certain extent for the boring bits , but overall, I didn't find the movie to be entertaining. I think the makers did a good decision by releasing it on primevideo. Would be hard pressed to spend Rs 1000 on this to watch in the theater, only to end up sleeping most of the time !
I fell asleep twice before being able to finish the movie. Ending was good. That old lady was lit AF.

Ohh I have seen Ghoul. First day. It was great, no doubt about that but it was more of a horror movie. Again, I totally agree with all the negatives and it actually gets worse. But I liked the premise and idea of zombies of this one too.

Were you guys waiting for hope to post the +ve review so you can take a collective dump on it?

I didn't see his review before posting mine. I wanted Betaal to be good and i like the zombie genre and the recent web series like Asur, Pataal Lok have been decent if not great. But it turned out to be tatti. Just cause of lockdown and no internet I went through the whole four episodes, using shift-skip.
Different people have different tastes though. ??♂️

Betaal - So bad. Cringey. Horrible acting. I don't know why Netflix keeps endorsing garbage like these. And the zombies look like they were designed by some 5 year old.

Patal lok is so overrated. Its a good show no doubt with some nice character development and great acting but there is nothing more than that to the show. I mean the main plot line is so cliched.
Hell Sacred games S1 was just so much better.
Exactly my thought. Like the plot didn't go anywhere and the ending was really weak, to the point where the whole show didn't make any sense.
Great characterization and acting by everyone though.

Saw Demolition. Amazing movie. Jake Gyllenhaal needs to make more movies.
Also while checking his IMDB, came across The Division. Didnt knew they were making a movie on the game.

Watched 'The Other Son'. Good watch has a really deep meaning and kinda thought provoking that our identity (religion, status, finance, everything) is just based on the family in which we are born into. Could've been anyone at the end of the day, could've been wearing someone else's shoes.

*Are you surprised, why Wine Shops were opened today* Because of GST fight between Central Government and State Governments. Central Government is not processing Refund of State share of GST collection. Its basically the collapse of GST mechanism and Federalism in one way. There is huge cash crunch in State Exchequer, such that States are not able to pay the salaries to its staff. The only intent of opening Daroo Thekas was to Get more revenue which is not to be shared with the Centre. Excise on Liquor isn’t covered by GST.

I didn't knew alcohol doesn't come under GST regime. Like one of the most common luxurious item is out of GST and people are paying 18% tax to buy a box of screw. How shallow and f**ked up it is.

All the lockdown and sh*t will eventually accomplish nothing at the end.
IMO let survival of the fittest prevail. Let people have their daaru and die in peace with some corona on the sides.

Just few days back saw English Medium. When I read the news about his death, I thought it was some type of dumb click bait sh*t but then it was true. RIP.
The Platform/El Hoyo: Good movie with a nice message, especially for times like these. ?

With incidents like this, what else do you expect?
From what I heard a women was beaten up so badly that she urinated on the spot in fear. This led to people getting agitated. Something must've kicked the hornets nest. But its totally wrong for people to create such ruckus during these times. Saw some guy doing a flying kick in lungi, like they taking some sort of vengeance from the cops. ??♂️
Btw can some get infected again after recovering? Like chicken pox doesn't happen twice, is it the same with Corona?

It is so good. Feels more Gilligan-ish than BrBa for sure. Waiting for Netflix to catch up on episodes, where'd you catch it?

Watched namastey England, was coming on TV so watched it just because of its name.
And it's another classic movie name used to make a crap movie.
Nothing good about the movie at all, trash script and execution and no charm or one decent moment. Also, Arjun Kapoor shouldn't be a hero in any role.
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt7607940/
Has a 1.8 rating. DAMN. Wonder if it goes lower that that.
How did u even watch that?

Finished Better Call Saul, Season 5 takes it to another level.
I stopped watching Season 1 few years ago, then started watching it again during the lockdown. Dont know why i stopped in the first place.
IMO it seems to be better than Breaking Bad.
