Because you've not played many of the games yet. For someone has been gaming regularly and is caught up on the latest releases, he/she will have the urge to buy a new console as soon as possible to experience the new games with the best possible performance. That isnt to say paying a premium beyond the MRP is sensible. But if someone has the money /will to, more power to them.

People are already preordering the 70 usd/80 euro games. Doubt Sony will go back on the pricing. On the flipside, I expect the used games market to bounce back in a big way. Expect less people to buy digital this gen, atleast day 1.

I remember the meltdown when a few games went epic exclusive initially. People were posting they would feel safer with their PC data by downloading pirated version over buying the Epic store version.

Keeping their games limited to 1 hardware lets Sony earn 15-20% on every 3rd party game sold, without investing a cent in development. Its the same as Gabe Newell taking a cut on every game sold on Steam. Without a dedicated hardware, Sony will not earn anything from 3rd party devs.

You wont get a power rack for 20-25k here. Atleast not a very durable one. You are looking at a minimum 35-40k for a sturdy one. A bunch of us enquired for our society gym pre covid, didnt get any quotes less than that.

LG yeah, but Samsung has horrible service.

Their after sales service is unmatched though. And they have a lot of pull with brands in case of any issue.

If you're really worried about burn in, better option would be to get a high end QLED for peace of mind. Doubt unless you do a side by side comparison, the difference would be too noticeable.
