Because Consoles are direct competitors due to very similar Price points. A console gamer would prefer choosing a ps5 over xsx if all the games are available on ps5. The transition from Xbox to PS isnt as big as console to Pc because of price barrier to enter Pc gaming.

How is the value of a console diminishing if the games are releasing on PC too? If I want to game on a console, I'll game on a console irrespective of how lucrative Pc visuals may be. Its a different case if the same games are releasing on ps5 as well, that would surely affect the value.

To be fair, its a master race only in terms of specs on paper. Actual games are made with consoles in mind, and if possible(after much petitions by the Master Race) ported later to PC

Something similar is happening this gen too. Sony has not at all been forthcoming w.r.t ps5 updates. Not to mention it is expected to be in short supply. On the other hand, MS has been focussing on Marketing series X , plus they are well prepared to flood the market with a more powerful console. This can actually help them capture a bigger share as a lot of people will pickul the console released earlier/available at christmas.

Yes , this so much. The best worlds in KH have been the original worlds( Traverse town, twilight town, hollow bastion/radiant garden, the world that never was, etc etc) Scala ad caelum in KH3 (even the remind DLC) was so disappointing

I think everyone including Dpny was expecting 50k. But the fact that they're specifically mentioning that the price will be on the higher side is what bothers me. I wouldn't put it past them to price the console at 60k in India. Even at 50k I think it will sell very poorly.

KH Dream drop and BBS had a very good balance of FF and disney. KH3 on the other hand is a high budget marketing campaign for Pixar movies. Shame. But this gen SE has done very well , with almost all games being a commercial success. Hopefully the next KH game goes back to the roots.

Just announce FF7 remake part 2 and a new Kingdom hearts game (exclusive or multiplat, dont care) and I'm happy.

With large publically traded companies such as MS, shelving a complete division would mean a direct hit to their stock value. Xbox by no means is a small brand. I guess MS did the math, and it made more sense for them to pump money into Xbox than taking a hit to their stock.

GOW 3 also had the Hermes boss fight. Overall settings/setpieces of GOW greece mythology were better since they had 3 games to expand the same, but Norse mythology also has a lot of potential. Let's see.

Yes. I just didnt want to comment on that. Also I just read they've allowed use of cars/2 wheelers without any pass, and inter state travel is also allowed, with curfew timings from 9pm to 5am. So that means offices are pretty much back to normal.
