Now I know how it feels to bait people. It's a good feeling.

Phooli hui roti aur uthi hui choochi ,sabko acchi lagti hai. Zodak ko lagta hai choochi jaada pasand haiDaddario is even worse actress. She only looks pretty. And yeah, too baby faced to play a warrior.
-
She(Daddario) is too baby faced in my opinion. Wonder women has always been depicted as a fierce warrior. Lucy lawless (Xena) would have been perfect but she is too old for the role now.

Yaar how does the question of culture come into picture here? :/Wo pagaal nahi. Indian Culture nahi bhooli wo wahan bhi.
Tujhe nangi ladkiyan pasand nahi hai kya?

-
Which Indian actress had her pics leaked? There are enough Indian girls doing the same thing and their stuff is also leaked regularly.
-
Yeah Iron man 3 was boring. Avengers 2 wasn't bad but very average. Thor 2 was also average.

Actually it's pretty bad. In Haryana there are power cuts of 7-8 hours daily and anyone without power backup is toast. I have temporarily shifted to Faridabad and our maid says there is hardly an hour of electric supply at her house throughout the day. No fan, no light, sweltering heat and mosquitoes on top of that. They are pretty much spending sleepless nights. The government here canno't even provide regular electricity/ water and decent roads. I thank my stars I rented out a society flat , otherwise khoon ke ansoo rula de Haryana.Imagine the plight of people who cannot afford air conditioning in such sweltering heat.

Googled it. Apparently saw:legacy is releasing on 20 october 2017. Nice!No idea. I don't mind more Saw movies even though they would never be as good as the first few ones.

There may be nepotism but it's not always been bad to be honest. We have a lot of talented actors such as Hrithik Roshan, Ranbir Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, Kapoor family, etc who entered the industry due to filmy links but have delivered. Even Prabhas entered the movie scene because of connections and influence but that does not take away from his talent.
As far as Kangana Ranaut goes, she is a fine actress but she needs to realise she would never have been cast in movies if indian cinema only worked on nepotism. Once you are cast, it's also about luck. She was on the peak of her career when she was doing Mahesh bhatt movies , I did not see her complaining of nepotism then.

Saw series is so dope! Wonder what happened to saw 8.

Even Iron man wasn't that popular outside of comics. But then Marvel released iron man and it was a hit, because the presentation was really awesome. Also most of these superheros were unknown to non comic book readers. The way they managed to establish these characters is seriously an achievement.A decade back no one ever thought that a Guardians of the Galaxy or AntMan movie was possible.

So much talk about Marvel has made me yearn for a Civil war rewatch :/

No he doesn't surpass Reeves, atleast not with the current screen time he has recieved. But Archit is correct to point out it's the best version since Reeves.Wow really. I thought no one can surpass Reeve's Clark Kent. He was too good.
Cavill looks the bulky part but his portrayal sucks.

A series of unfortunate events is damn good. It seems like a depressing series but it's really very entertaining.

Some people liked the movie, some didn't. That's purely subjective. My friend and I watched it together and both of us felt it was overlong in the first half and rushed in the second. It's not you. We Indians simply lack the ability to think critically. The problem is unfortunately systemic.
I never meant to deny anyone their right to think and feel as they wish. But i felt a need to correct someone provided in doing so i could elevate them to a higher level of consciousness/intelligence.
Where does the question of intelligence , or elevating it come into picture?
Having said that, I do agree it's not cool to sh*t on the movie repeatedly. I felt it was flawed, voiced my criticism once but I should be done with that. Criticising it 10 times won't change it and it's also disrespectful to those who did like it.
But everyone is entitled to their opinion.

It's getting rave reviews though. Plus it's more of a murder mystery from the plot.Anyone watching 13 Reasons Why ? From the looks of the trailer, it seems like a teen drama and hence avoiding it.

Collateral does have a hindi remake. It's the Emraan Hashmi and Irfan khan starrer The Killer and to be honest it's pretty decent. Irfan khan was decent as vincent and emran as max.Why do you think @hope is the way he is? Why do you suppose he gets a lot of hate for promoting SRK? I've never understood why everyone hates SRK. In my opinion SRK is a terrific actor who has tremendous screen presence. But the hate he receives isn't because of his acting skills but largely thanks to Bollywood having heavily typecast him into the role of a lover. It's because of Bollywood's reluctance to admit that they're an unimaginative lot that SRK receives the kind of hate that he does. What a waste of talent! Bollywood repeatedly chooses the easy path, creating a movie that revolves around SRK instead of choosing to cast opposite another strong lead actor.
Take a serious movie like Collateral (2004) for example. SRK would've made an f***ing awesome Vincent provided they could've found a less popular but convincing actor to play Max. But a hindi-remake would fail miserably simply because Bollywood has heavily typecast SRK as the brooding, forlorn lover with fans expecting at least one dance number.
Everyone up north thinks that nepotism is the biggest problem with Bollywood. Well the truth is it isn't. If there's anything to be learnt from Baahubalis' success then it's time for Bollywood to wake up and reinvent themselves. They need to stop chasing after profits and start taking risks with different genres which they can quickly accomplish by scouting for lesser-known talent.

Theatres should kick people out with kids smaller than 5-6 years. No refunds. Bc parents can't control their kids but are too eager to bring them to movies, ruining the experience for other paying viewers.
-
The first half was overstretched, while the second half was completely rushed. You might as well put up the link for the review you read before posting this...
Let's see if you can elaborate a bit more on what you thought was wrong with the movie? In fact i'd like to see if anyone on IVG can critique both movies in their own words!
Also just so you know, even SS rajamouli has admitted to the fact they did not have enough story to make a complete film, but it was too much for a single movie.
-
It's not that the movie is bad, it's actually much better than most Hindi movies. Just that the amount of hype around this movie is astonishing. Ticket sales I can digest, but satellite rights for 450crore? Not worth so much hype in my opinion.
-
So much hype for this movie, it's not even that great :|

Sam Raimi did an excellent job with spiderman 1 and 2. In fact those two are my top favourite superhero movies. He could be a good fit too, provided WB does not butt in.
