Alright guys, here is the deal: I need the strongest gaming PC possible never mind the cost. (I actually in a way do mind the cost, but I prefer going from upwards to downwards as no credit limit has been specified.) I also need a cool alienware-ish cabinet to go along with it.
I am considering Alienware Aurora but I have heard its power doesnt match its expense'
Can anyone help?
alienware products are way to overpriced if u have the budget to buy a alienware then u can get a more powerfull assembled pc for half its price
if u could specify ur budget i can suggest a better config than a alienware for half its price

Thanks repped.
Ok my M1530 finally conked out.
I need a temp laptop for use till mid 2012. Its gotta be cheap (20 k- 40k), have decent specs enough to run games on mid config.
Suggestions please.
also can make do with used ones.
if u r willing to spend upto 40k u can consider buying ASUS K53SV-SX520D its the most VFM laptop u can check the specs n price HERE
its got good reviews n it will handle all current games n upcoming games in medium settings

Guys, please suggest me a laptop. My budget is around 40K.
This is what I have till now -- and I'm confused...
1. DELL XPS 14
Earlier it was b/w the 2nd and the 3rd -- I was leaning towards the VAIO. Then I saw the XPS 14 on letsbuy. Although not available on Dell's Website anymore, it seems like a good purchase. But like I said, confused!
Any other suggestions are also welcomed.
Thank you!
you can consider buying ASUS K53SV-SX520D comes with second generation i5 has a better graphic card and has got good reviews u can check the specs and price HERE

How is dis for gaming . I couldnt get any higher model than dis as I wanted it rdy , I couldnt have waited for 15 days

took the frontech psu back. I got instore credit but no refund - which was fine with me - i got a printer cartridge.
The other psu - i have to take it back to the vendor (different guy ) but that is not a problem - i mean he is reasonable. I will try to get a seasonic or corsair now.
try getting corsair as corsair has good after sales service in india
-
Yes. I am thinking of getting the alienware
its better if u w8 4 smtime as gtx 580m the gfx card in alienware m17x has serious throttling issue which has not been resolved yet
-
Yup.
Got a frontech PSU for 600 bucks (from bad to worse) and the comp powered up. Now the problem with the new PSU is 1) too less wattage so cannot use GPU 2) the cables are too short - cannot be used in my cabinet. So I am now stuck with 2 psus that are unusable.
To make things worse, I thought the problem could be with the processor overheating - so i got some thermal paste (coolermaster again - aargh), so i took off the heatsink and put this one in - now my processor fan makes twice or thrice the noise.
I think I need to learn to enjoy stuff that does not necessitate using a computer or my life span will be shortened with all these frustrations.
if you have bought both ur PSU's from the same vendor talk to him he might get ready to take them back in exchange for a new PSU(if he does get a corsair PSU) if not sell them ASAP get what ever you can get out of them and buy a corsair 650tx V2

A question - 1.5GB GTX 560M or 2GB 580M? I am looking from a view of not having to spend any money over the next 4 years.
(Given that the difference between these two is > 500$)
which laptop are u buying is it alienware
-
seems to be a PSU problem cooler master isnt a very reputed company when it comes to PSU's better check with some other PSU if possible
-
both of them have the same resolution
dell is more popular because of good after sales service
