  1. Secondary TV is screwed. Plan is - Move the main TV (55 inch 4K, Samsung, 2014 model) as replacement.

Unfortunately the living room won't allow for 65 inch, so thinking of getting a new 55 inch 4K TV? Don't wanna go OLED as its too much money and I only watch football/occasional Netflix.
I play games on my monitor in my bedroom.
You have top TVs and game on a monitor what

    You are missing amazing HDR

If budget is no issue and PQ only matters here are the picks

    Sony X85J, X90J both hdmi 2.1 on 2 ports
Samsung frame 2020 or 2021 (1 hdmi 2.1 on 55 inch model above)
    Panasonic's new JX850

  2. Why do you have to play with the wires and cables connected to the TV? Just connect it once and forget it, deal with the one connect box.
Why would anyone play with wires. Don't you guys do dust cleaning or the dreaded diwali time and festive time cleaning? Apart from festive cleaning my place is roadside so dust piles up even if i clean it every 4-5 days.

Folks at my place might forget to do delicate cleaning which sometimes happen. If i am the one cleaning it i take care. But everyone around will take it as a normal wire and bend it in the heat of the moment of cleaning around. Samsung does state don't bend it. I don't get why they just didn't spend some more and made the cable braided.

This TV is so tempting because it's like a Q65A i say this coz the PQ is better than a Q60A and has most quality stuff from Q70A. And for a price lesser that the overcost Q60A.

You worry too much. God forbid, if there is a fire hazard, you have much bigger problems than dealing with a frickin one connect box

Anyways, it is delicate, but I see no reason why one has to mess with it. The cable is very long so you can just wrap the extra wire in a bundle and hide it behind the box. If one is accessing a port on the box, they have to go out of their way and pull the transparent cable like mad for it to break, but I see no reason why one would, unless they have spirit of gorillas in them
As the b_d_installer guy said. The cable itself is the fire hazard. It carries high voltage currents. So if it breaks it will cause fires. I listed to what he said as he has made a name for himself as the go to guy for frame tv installation in Cali area.

Also i don't know why people are assuming normal caution you take for your family and then relating it to worry a feeling that just seems like i am worrying without understanding the risks.

If i get the frame then I'll keep your info in mind. If i keep the cable bundle in a hard zip pouch so as to prevent any external objects touching it, but will being placed in such a pouch cause the cable to heat up and get damaged?

Don't blame me for being cautious. Samsung designed this weird technology and made it affordable and better than their Q60A a tv 7k costlier than their 43 inch frame.

  4. This topic was covered extensively quite a time ago. This was the exact same reason.
I think you were a part of that conversation, afaik.
Idk from how past few months have been it feels ages ago that i can't remember. I didn't even have the time to watch teletuber till recently when i saw frame 2021 43 released here.

It seems great except that one connect box. If AU9070 had 4 hdmi ports i would just get that 43 inch. I will be getting a switch as well when the oled switch launches so I'll require 5 hdmi slots then and if i get a 3 slot tv it would suck.

Of course i am not looking for any chinese or nokia tv solutions as i requre a certain level of PQ only samsung, sony and panasonic provide in this price bracket. Shame X85J 43 isn't here. I'd just get that despite my issues with X90H. With 43 inch size i don't think I'd face DSE.

All good models are purposefully withheld from india.

Just asking btw what is the lowest legit price for LG CX 48 inch

  5. To frame owners how delicate is the one connect cable? I will be using frame tv as a table top tv as i have bad eye vision and need tv close as possible. I am looking for the 43 inch frame 2021 as for 62k with 4 hdmi ports it's really great.

This will be a family tv later on when i get a oled at a good price but that is much later in the year. And now after a hectic few months i am getting a few free hours to use a TV.

Frankly frane fits most of my requirements but recently i saw a video by be the installer where he said one connect cable is very delicate that if it breaks it's a fire hazard. This is another worry i may be able to deal with the cable but seeing how traparent it is idk if the family can keep it safe.

Do you guys have any ideas to keep the cable safe? All i can think is get a hard round 2 zip pouch and put the cable in that and get the two end out and close the zip not too much from the sides.

Seriously this tv is great if it weren't for the headache box.

    IGN:

Space Punks Is Diablo Meets Borderlands from the Shadow Warrior Team.

Jagex and Flying Wild Hog have announced Space Punks, a cartoon-style action RPG set in an irreverent sci-fi world.

While the visual style immediately calls to mind Borderlands, the game is played from an isometric perspective and seems to share some common ground with the likes of Diablo and Path of Exile, just with a lot more guns. There appears to be a looting system with brightly coloured items, and each character seems to have a variety of abilities alongside melee and ranged weapons.

It's a co-op ARPG set in space with zany characters, then. And, aside from a website - playspacepunks.com - for now, that's as much as we know. Jagex - the minds behind Runescape - is on publishing duties, while Flying Wild Hog is developing. The Polish developer is best known for its frantic first person shooters, Hard Reset and Shadow Warrior.

Where did u buy it from ?

Myntra, i was worried about how it would go about, but a friend of mine said he bought chelsea training kit from myntra and it turned out official so went for it. Also FK later got this kit in stock but wasn't deliverable to my pincode. Glad myntra worked out.

  8. Yep ships from the UK. I'm not sure what the scene is on the duty front yet, will know in a month's time.
Last time i got sonic all star racing transformed from amazon uk official seller. Boy the duty was harsh. It was like 2k for a game bought for 1.8k back in 2012. I fear for what they will charge now.

Myntra is rubbish. My account got hacked. Had some leftover money as GC. Someone used it to purchase stuff. I called CC, asked them to cancel and block the order.

Their reply - Contact cyber cell.

I contacted 3 times again before the item got delivered, and got sh*t reply every time.

That's the day I stopped using that app.

    Just f**king sh*t all around.

It's owned by flipkart and such things happen whoa

    You didn't mention blur.
Blur was ok imo and split swcond was already mentioned.

Blur was too chaotic. And didn't handle the chaos well like Split second, motorstorm, burnout. So with all the fancy effects of power ups and lights focus on driving went off. It was a bit like a cult ty the tasmanian tiger kind of racing game for me at least.

Blur overshadowed Split second (far better imo) during that time frame. But me and my gamer crew never had any fun playing blur and we would just switch to split second or motorstorm back then.

Only because it looks better than arcade racing I guess. Be it gt or fh.
Horizon looks better i agree but not at all for other games. Just some racing cars crashing against one another with only thrill driving perfectly without crashing. Idk who gets off on that. Ridge racer even being arcade was so boring just 6-8 cars on track. They had to go the burnout way to make it fun with unbounded.

I say this time and again those who wanna know how great arcade racers are need to play 3 things

CTR, NFS HP2 on PS2 lap knockout mode (preferred with a skilled friends) helis will be dropping bombs and spikes on road and you aiming to beat lap record amazing rush and finally road rash jailbreak the best RR ever who didn't get the spotlight just because it was on PS1 and not PC (meh that PC RR was crap compared to jailbreak) jailbreak was mortal kombat on wheels.

I think generally, arcade racing titles do better than sims.
Yeah track racing is kinda boring. It doesn't even feel like an adrenaline rush. For those who know what they like about sim racing enjoy those games for it. The only sim i liked was NFS Shift 1.

Also idk why people who drive IRL like sim racing how is breaking and turning on same looking traffic less tracks any fun [emoji848]

Atleast it falls under arcade racing
Not the saving grace you want. CTR Nitro Fueled is godwork. Kamige if you put it in Japanese terms.

    Mario kart 8 deluxe!
Nah man mario kart is meh. It's not skill based as CTR NF. In mario kart if you get some dreaded blue shell or whatever and no matter how skilled the leader is they'll get knocked out in the pack.

In CTR if you are not skilled no power up can save you. And those who are skilled look damn good showing it off. Best game ever made. After all it was first made by naughty dog.

  15. Honestly, arcade racing as a genre is pretty much dead.
We no longer get games like Motorstorm, Burnout, Blur, etc. anymore.
Play crash team racing nitro fueled. And you will see the genre is pretty alive, well and kicking arse. You won't get better handling in any game. ANY !

  16. These games don't feel neither arcade nor somcade they are just som racing games on open world tracks. You have to follow lines and break to turn etc. It doesn't feel right to compare them with other arcadr racers and say horizon is the best arcade racing game.

Hell if we don't have the rewind function which we don't online then we'd just have a sim game with thorough handling.

Alot of good arcade games are overlooked because of horizon and they just need to create a simcade category now for grid, horizon and test drive are enough racing games that require you to follow real world drving methods.

I'm glad i got FH4 on gamepass after buying FH3 and seeing how simulation the handling was i was bored breaking at each turn adjusting break power so as to keep the turn to the proper. Also those hairpin and cramped turn just show how simulation the game really is.
