  1. Ok thanks Sent from my SM-N975F using Tapatalk
  2. Which model was it i mean the TV Local electricians and the custoner service people either lack knowledge or it's just sone huge ploy to get your devices broken every now and then so you spend on buying new ones. I doubt there are bad electricians everywhere. Most of these people have years of experience and have done wiring work for all sorts of people from casuals to heavy demands like media professionals or even festive equipment contracts abd ceremonies. Yet they give such advice that most of the time is ineffective. Sent from my SM-N975F using Tapatalk
  3. This is getting me worried if you are serious. Sony has already closed my complaint fof replacement though it was some local sh*t sonu electronics sony service center subsidy. I don't think i ever want to buy a electromic product in india with the luck I'm having for the past 3-4 purchases. Customer service is bad and not even close to the poorest customer service in foreign countries. They are trained to shut down customer complaints. It's a known fact. Check hifivision how a samsung Q60R owner got looted by samsung. I hope for everyones sake LG has good CC in major issues like panel replacement or DOA cases. It's amazing how companies don't care about their repute taking the hit when they employ such scum staff. Or maybe they are resalvaging the faulty TV western people return and resale them here by resembling and repackaging them. Like the samsung guy on hifivision. I had no luck even after showing sony guys responses from other same model owners who told to get it replaced. Usually you get a replacement easily in foreign countries. But not here. So my advice anyone looking for a new TV get a cheap decent HDR set like maybe samsung TUE60 i guess ir LG equivalent. The cheaper TVs always freakin work well. Sent from my SM-N975F using Tapatalk
  4. Whenever i turn the fan on or off. My tv screen turns off and on. This seems to happen on dth and not on tv android home. Yet to test with consoles. The electrician said this is a common issue in our society area. He said replace the hdmi cable. One person did and it fixed the problem. I asked which cable did the guy buy but the electrician didn't know that In a seperate incidence my airtel dth just randomly loses it's audio and it comes back on when i remove and reinsert the hdmi cable or turn the tv off and on. Though for 2-3 days now this has not happened. Did anyone else face this issue. The TV has hdmi 2.0 and 2.1 ports but thd dth i think is hdmi 1.1 or 1.4. I upgraded to airtel HD box back in 2014 or 2015. So will this cable do the job? https://www.amazon.in/dp/B00REG4NOC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_dlC_Uj-QFb8EYVEBC How can i establish a proper link between the two devices so they can play well with each other? 5. Ok my bad then but don't quote me on a reply that was meticulously crafted [emoji28] Sent from my SM-N975F using Tapatalk
  6. Are you dumb man go check my profile i play more on ps4 than xbox. This just proves that most of the people on this forum are blind xbox haters. So please just don't shame yourself by randomly calling someone else a fanboy. Sent from my SM-N975F using Tapatalk
  7. Console wars are over imo. Most of us buy all the consoles anyway. One has to be stupid to not recognize what MS offers. Forza horizon is a awesome racing experience, game pass has great future potential if they scrap XBLive and reduce the GPU cost it's a great deal. They are acquiring new studios so they'll make their own games. We are getting Phantasy star online 2 and new genesis on xbox for English audience whereas sony even having it for years on PS made us miss one of the best MMORPGs on the market by not releasing a english version. Plus fable is returning. One has to play fable 2 to understand the charm of xbox. If they are going to focus on RPGs again. I'm sure they will make some great additions to the genre. It's not stadia guys. Learn to love the box. Sent from my SM-N975F using Tapatalk

  9. Yes it's a legit problem buddy right now i see vertical lines on both left and right side. For a new TV those are very much visible. Then on white image i see horizontal and vertical lines. It just looks sh*t. On a gray and white image above 40% onwards i clearly see a crescent moon like black object but the halo kind of makes it look like a burnt blackish circle with white in between. It is noticeable from time to time and it just feels bad for a new TV. Like bird said yesterday it seems like a case of a dying panel. If many people are saying their X90H doesn't exhibit this then my safest option is a replacement. Sony installation guy came to check and said they'll send some engineer to check. Never had such deal breakibg issues on the past 2 LCD TVs i owned for a combined past 12 years. So this is disheartening. One should not even say company are giving bare minimum. I haven't even touched on any HDMI 2.1 issues. This is just average use. Watching a everyday thing like a football match without any banding is standard expectations from a nearly 1L purchase. None of mine or other LCDs I've seen exhibit this and suddenly this issue is trending with 4k gen of TVs. Idk if it's the issue with high resolution or companies making such TVs just to promote their costly lineup but X90H is no X75H and it's rated 8/10 on rting and most reviewers have said good things about it. So naturally one would assume it's safe to buy it. And i don't have the money to buy a OLED TV just to see how it perform in my home lighting. All we can do is what we can play with at the stores. And frankly i did go through it thoroughly regardless what anyone thinks. If rtings or anyone found this dirty screen then should not have given the oraise for the X90H. 10. What does it explain that someone else's perceived image based on a forum chat. You may not feel like the banding is there but more than 15+ x900h owners on reddit did. And as far as no one can talk ill of oled just because it's a costly sh*t on market and it instantly makes it good then that is just a ripple effect. I don't like losing the details of objects in my content to blackification. I don't care about the ink black stuff. I have done tests on CX that just don't appeal to me. Only standard mode was tolerable for me. Did i tell anyone not to buy an OLED? No. It was just not for me. I was personally attacked for choosing a LCD/LED over OLED. So that is why i had to clarify myself. And then all the salty OLED fandom pops up. Sent from my SM-N975F using Tapatalk
  11. Yeah enjoy riding on your OLED high horse Sent from my SM-N975F using Tapatalk
  12. Even while gaming OLED colors are blown up. Who uses filmmaker mode for gaming. By natural colors i don't mean using different picture modes. Most use TVs on standard mode and it's a great mode to check true colors without having a filter effect on it. OLEDs, QLEDs just produce the same effect old AMOLED screens had when everyone complained the colors felt exaggerated and popped too much. Sent from my SM-N975F using Tapatalk
  13. Burn-in wasn't mentioned at all on the terms and conditions card for LG that the vijay sales guy showed me. Some gamer youtubers got dead pixels in a few months of purchase on recent LG OLEDs. Also if i get immersed i don't switch content for days. I'll be playing the same game for 4+ hours daily. Since i don't see corona issue dissapearing soon my gaming time is increased. I don't hate LG but since how you have to care so much for an OLED abd the only varrying content which we could do is a couple of hours of news and TV shows or sometimes sports. I do feel worried about OLED. And unrealistic colors are just not for me. Sent from my SM-N975F using Tapatalk
  14. I don't get all my info from quantum TV. I watch all the youtubers Hdtvtest, STFomo, tech chap and all the big small ones. Info is important to me. Quantum TV is one guy who puts the bad stuff out there. You want to hear all that is good about a product without hearing the bads. Every other youtuber is promoting OLEDs. Is it hard for people to fathom that some of us don't like those deep blacks and blown up whites while compromising pn natural colors. Indian TV show actors looked like white foreigners with a beautification fonter on them on an LG CX. While they looked natural and with facial detailing on a Sony A8H oled. Please don't just at me with OLED this OLED that. And it's not like i saw banding on other sony or samsung LCDs in stores. Mine does have it and it's annoying. Maybe some people who got the same model had better luck. Mine was a made in india TV and sony guy said this was made here because of lockdown. I'd say the quality control at the factory matters also. Sent from my SM-N975F using Tapatalk
  15. Before buying this TV i did check LGs policy for replacement and unlike the western countries where they replace the panel for 3 dead pixels here it said they will only replace the panel for 12 dark or bright faulty pixels. Also with my usage like playing the same game for 6-7 hours i will face burn in issues. Plus Oleds do a sh*t thing where they shift the entire picture to protect from burn in, you have to run pixel refreshers and screen cleaners every now and then to prevent image retenion and burn in. Not to mention dying or semi-dying pixels have their whole set of different problems. That kind of commitment to a TV is too much for me. Sony has the best natural colors and immersion. LG and samsung have artificial blown up colors. And obviously i am going to check for codec support if I'm going to buy a 1L TV. What is the use of a costly black brick if it can't play the stuff we daily use and want to enjoy on a bigger screen. The issue here is like that quantum TV guy said. These companies are rolling out incomplete half assed products with features removed, poor quality control. And people are letting them go scot free. We are not beta testers. Advertised functionality should only be advertised if it works. Quality control should be top notch. Recently i read on reddit that a particular sony factory had to be closed at it had bugs abd many X950G users had actual bugs in their panels. This came to light when a reddit user posted a video if a shadow like thing constantly moving inside his screen. Panel lottery is not ok, compromise is not ok, luck should not have anything to do with purchase made from your hard earned money. Human errors should be negated by machining these factories like automobile factories. Sent from my SM-N975F using Tapatalk
  16. I got multiple 15 plus redditors saying this is a faulty panel. And it's much worse watching football. I can see two big bars on left of screen when i was watching a HD premier league gane yesterday. I can't live with that. Bare minimum is good quality performance i got that on my old w700c. And we are not beta testers for any product. When they are rolling out the product, age old issues like dirty screen, panel lottery should not be the concern. Quality control should be maintained at a high level. The product cost around 1Lacs for crying out loud. Sent from my SM-N975F using Tapatalk
  17. Here are sone more pics but in reality it's more than the pic. While watching football the lines feel annoying. I wonder how TV manufacturers are allowed to get away with pabel lottery. Sent from my SM-N975F using Tapatalk
  18. This is absurd what are companies making. How can a surface cause banding. I just placed the TV on a table i ordered for it new. Also checked with the electrician if the surface is totally flat and yes it is. Sent from my SM-N975F using Tapatalk
  19. Yeah called the sony guys. The person who came for the installation said he'll come tomorrow. Did not expect this from sony. Just freakin killed my mood altogether. Sent from my SM-N975F using Tapatalk
  20. I thought sony didn't have panel lottery stuff. Such a bummer. What is this vignetting and why does a LCD need it since there is no burn in risk unlike oleds Sent from my SM-N975F using Tapatalk
  21. Most of the comments I'm getting on reddit are saying their x90h panel does not show jail bar banding and that i should replace it. Such a bummer i love the TV and this sh*t happens. Sent from my SM-N975F using Tapatalk
  22. Check i meant here on all 4 sides Sent from my SM-N975F using Tapatalk
  23. Also I'm getting black shadow on all 4 edges of the TV screen Sent from my SM-N975F using Tapatalk
  24. This is visible for DTH, Youtube Uniformity and dirty screen tests. Also now I'm playing on ps4 fall guys. And whenever there is a white screen during loading i see the banding. Can you post your results here running the uniformity tests on YouTube.I'd like to know if this is common for LCD/LEDs or is just my panel faulty Sent from my SM-N975F using Tapatalk
  25. So i bought the X90H deliveredand installed today. And i was watching some football i went to the kitchen and as i was coming out of the kitchen i saw two backlight bars on the left of the screen. Idk if this is banding. Should i get it replaced? Also in the third pic i see a U or O shaped burn type mark where the inner part is a bit blackish compared to the overall color. But is this normal or is the panel defective?
