  1.
I think arrow/flash are more on the cheesy/campy side of things, where as NF superhero shows are more nolan-esque - dark and brooding.

Problem with iron fist is, the casting is way off and most of the actors look unconvincing in their roles.  There's little to no character development for danny or colleen wing. The villains are not introduced properly and their motivations might seem shallow.  Also, it doesn't help when they keep recycling the same Madam Gao, nurse Claire in every damn show.

So - why watch it ? Well, if you watch it as just another action-adventure TV show, which is what I did, I think one might find it to be quite a decent show.  There's still colleen wing who's good (I think she will soon spillover to other NF shows like defenders and luke cage) and some of the martial arts fight scenes are choreographed quite well. Especially I liked the ones where danny fights the drunken master at the factory entrance and the fights where he challenges "the hand" in madam gao's lair.  Overall , yeah, like I said before, it might be pretty average, but I found it to be still better than arrow/flash [emoji14]

Now, coming to arrow/flash - the first 1-2 seasons were good.  It was cheesy but still entertaining.  But then, it became one big romantic/family/soap opera style with the lead actors becoming some kind of emotional train-wrecks with too many romantic/family subplots, which is when I stopped watching !

Lol reason why I stopped watching those shows. Too much romantic and family drama with awful acting. Also cringeworthy twists.

About ASOUE, it's a decent dark comedy and the setting feels like a typical Tim Burton movie.
  2. What's sad is that we do get disney XD in India but it has garbage programming.  Just browsed through the schedule for XD on tatasky.
The same is the case for Disney channel, cartoon network (we don't even get the HD version yet). All sucky programming.
And then companies complain about illegal streaming sites. Where are we supposed to watch these cartoons if they are not aired on the channel they are supposed to air?

There's this channel called Toonami which I discovered recently while my cousin was watching. They have all the good stuff from Batman animated series, Superman to Dexter. Classic Cartoon Network was the best though. It had BTAS,60s Spider-Man cartoon, JLA and X-Men.
