Yakuza 5 is gigantic - to the point that it will make Yakuza 4 look like a tiny CoD SP game in comparison. RGG Studios went absolutely bonkers with the game. This is the last time I ever saw them making a game on such a huge scale.

    1) Main Story is far bigger than Y4. It's also far better than Y4. In fact, it's one of the best stories in Yakuza Series period - right up there with Yakuza 0 (Maybe even better, depending on people's opinion).

    2) It has 5 characters, and 5 gigantic cities to explore. All 5 cities are different from each other, and in full scale, i.e. as big as or even bigger than Kamurocho (Think on that)

    3) All 5 cities have tons of side content and sub-quests, and they are different.

    4) To add to this - all 5 characters have their own major mini-games, with their own stories. Think of Real Estate and Cabaret Club in Y0. Now imagine 5 different mini-games on that scale for 5 different characters (Complete with entire story-lines and unique gameplay)

    5) This is the first and last time you will be able to drive in Yakuza Series (Even Lost Judgement - the latest game - does not allow driving). Heck, in the original PS3 release you could go to convenience stores and read actual manga (i.e. IRL Manga that exists). Sadly this feature was removed in the Remake

Wow. I heard Y5 is big, but had no clue its this big.

Have finished Y4 back in March and after 7 months, was getting the itch to return and play a Yakuza game. All the above points have increased the excitement level even further...especially point # 1 :)

Finished 4 yesterday and man I'm lost for words, easily the best finale set-up since 0. I loved Kiwami 2, but the whole build up with these 4 characters, their backstories, the tie in with previous titles and it's overall pacing was just next level stuff.

    +1 on the finale

Kiryu vs "those two"...was the best moment of the game for me :D

From what I can read, double dosed (Covidshield) tourists just need to fill a tourist locator form 48hrs before travel and then need to take a Day 2 Covid test in the UK.

Both of you talking about the same UK? ?

They do at KA airport though once you collect your luggage and are about to exit. If you don't have certificate (vaccine or rt pcr). They send you to test, a small counter when you exit. Test, take your details and let you go.

    Thanks.

I don't think they will create fuss for kids just 6 months older.

I am expecting this too. Saw few articles about officials being very strict with -ive RT-PCR report so was checking. Anyways, will have to see tomorrow :)

    Flight.

Had to get tested on the airport itself.

By any chance were you travelling with a kid?

Have to travel from MH to KA tomorrow. Me and wifey have -ive RT-PCR report but not feeling comfortable getting it done for my 2&half years old. Hoping they will not mandate to get it done for her too.

Then again skipping sub-stories would mean giving up on random moments like this :fap:

Yup. Better to take a (long) break between games rather than ignoring the side content IMO. I am also planning to start Y5 next.
