  1. Juggling between: The Evil Within 2: Shadow of the colossus: It was one of the most impressive games I had played on PS2, but not liking the remake much. Statik: One of the most unique puzzle games I've played. Bought the PS5 already..nice ?

    Psychonauts 2

Great reviews!! Played the first one way back on PS2. Dont remember much of the story but I remember liking it a lot. One more game to add to PS4 backlog.

    The Evil Within 2

12 hours in and I havnt reached even the half way mark yet. Spent way too much time in Chapter 3. Absolutely loving the game!! First two chapters were filled with spooky bone-chilling moments and once the world opened up in Chapter 3...it was a joy to explore too. Its like every house has a story to tell. Some of the enemy designs made me wonder who comes up with all this stuff? Have scanned every square inch of the map. Atmosphere is top notch, have to take a break after every hr or two to get a breather. Love such games who dont rely much on cheap jump scares. I so wish this game had a VR mode. Would have given RE7 serious competition. Now the save system is on top of the things I dint like. The game autosaves progress and yet I've to go to safe house and manually save else all the progress until the last manual save will be lost ?‍♂️ Very mediocre enemy AI. Releases lots of tension created by the game as its very easy to avoid enemies if they spot you. Chapter 4

Thats good to hear Any spoilers in your review? Any game I am remotely interested in, I go on complete media black out for it.

    The Evil Within 2

Had played just about an hr tbh, so cant comment. There were too many references to the events of first game which I wasn't getting, so watched the story video first and now started watching a full play-through of the first game ? Taking a 2.5 week long break starting this thursday. Will just sit at home and play as much as I can

    The Evil Within 2

Started playing this in the weekend and before that wanted to refresh my memory on events from the first game. Watched this video - And holy ?, this is one of the best stories I have ever seen in a game. Was so caught up with the weird and twisted world of the first game that I had completely missed the plot . Gem of a game, if you are a survival horror fan. So far liking the sequel too.
  7. After 3+ months finished SOTR+DLCs. As someone who dint like ROTR much, I liked it way more than I thought I would do. With the main campaign(story was just ok), side missions, tombs, crypts, monoliths....there was a lot of good content. Game looked phenomenal and I just loved to explore the environments, even though I wasnt going for some trophy for collecting trash. Howl of the monkey gods was the tomb I liked the most, but overall ROTR did tombs better IMO. Lara was the only thing I dint like about the game. From a bada*s character of iconic stature, turned into a cringey, whining, generic protagonist. But I went in expecting this, so not much of an issue. Hope she goes back to being a bada*s...a small glimpse of which they had shown in one of the missions. Would also prefer if the game isnt that grounded. Have only played one TR game before this trilogy..forgot its name but I remember having a lot of fun with puzzles involving a Kraken, underwater city(which was one of the most impressive things I had seen in games at that time), OP Thor's hammer and what not.
  8. Loved TR 2013, but found ROTR quite generic and mediocre and hence wasn't looking forward to this game much. The reception was also lukewarm iirc. But the game surprised me...have been playing it for over a week now and loving it. As everyone mentioned, game looks amazing & with Lara, I dont mind those slow walk sections But level design is something that stood out to me the most. Love exploring the environment and the exploration is usually rewarding...some trail here, some underwater cave there, leading to tombs, crypts, murals etc etc. Initially started with highest level of difficulty for exploration as it was quite satisfying to find the hidden stuff...but that became a frustrating waste of time soon as in larger areas it is difficult to identify without the hints, which ledge the game is allowing to hang on to. I have crossed two level so far and have on average ~95% completion rate, even though I am not a completionist or into trophies. Exploring the game world is that good. After playing UC:LL, I felt like I am done with this kind of action-adventure games, but traversing these ancient ruins and tombs, hidden or lost cities will never get old, I guess. Regarding the shortcomings, Crypts/Tombs are decent but thats one area where I think RoTR did better. Lara is still as irritating as ever with her constant whining and cringey voice acting. Cant help but compare it to UC, where the characters and their interactions feel so natural, the animations are much more refined, but here her one liners fall flat and seems forced and cringey. And compared to other games I am finding it much harder to aim and shoot using a bow. Still a very enjoyable game and looking forward to the dlcs as well as I've heard tombs there are much better.

    Far Cry 6

+1. Hadnt played many open world games till then and had too much time those days, so that dint bother me much. Minor annoyance because of enemy respawn. OMG, this is the best thing I've watched today
  10. Isnt it common for games to get such editions with all the dlcs? Atleast this game did good...think about SoTR getting such treatment

    Far Cry 6

2 was awesome. So ahead of its time. Can put many current day open world games to shame.
  12. Dont know man. After a point, it becomes boring, annoying and pointless. But I feel that way for Big Boss too and there are thousands of people who watch it and passionately argue over that too
  13. Looking forward to MS and Nintendo. Would be nice to have some cool game videos to check amidst all this doom-n-gloom. No Sony is a huge buzzkill though. No more (one-sided)discussions on who won the E3.

    Ni no Kuni 2

Wasnt feeling like starting some new game, so thought of spending some casual time with this, taking up some side quests. And that was last week Have seen many people calling the kingdom building aspect worthless filler like in a mobile game, but I find it to be the most addictive thing about this game
  15. Finished Swapper. More like gave up at around 70%. Brilliant game with amazing art design and atmosphere. The puzzle towards the end were getting very specific and thus got a bit frustrating because of lack of gaming time. Loved it otherwise - 8.5/10. Hoping to return to it some day and finish it.
  16. Yes and the amazing Team Asobi is still alive and kicking... even expanded.
  17. Somehow I dont find this usual compain with the game that frustrating. I felt that slowly as the game progress and the bond grows, Trico became better in listening to the commands. Felt very natural. Maybe I am wrong and instead I just got more accustomed to the gameplay elements with time and it felt like that. I think if this is Studio Japan's game then so is Bloodborne.
