Finally got back to this game, last time left it after reaching the first boss, got busy.
Restarted from beginning, Class - Waste of Skin, level 4, and this game's so easy so far.
Cleric Beast - First try at level 10.
Father Gascoigne - First try at level 12.
Blood-starved Beast - Second try at level 24.
Vit at 16, End at 16, and it was too easy for the blood-starved beast.
Don't use summons, guns for parries, any glitches, or any items except blood vials for health.
Was particularly disappointed with Father Gascoigne fight, had heard so much about him, i thought it was an iconic fight, loved the music during the fight, but too easy. So far, feels like am over-leveled.
Here's hoping the game becomes challenging ahead
PS: Love everything else in the game, atmosphere, designs, gameplay, music, etc. Top-notch stuff from FROM SOFTWARE, as always.
Its easy if you are using any weapon. Play with the torch alone.

Have usually seen this trend. Those who have played NNK 1 first, find it to be better than NNK 2 & vice versa.
First one was magical, 2nd was a good game.

Dont think so. They have quest, odyssey and all. PCVR market is much bigger.
Also dont think Valve treats HL:A as the killer app to be used to sell Index as its available on every PCVR headset in the market, some of them are priced as low as $200.
PSVR is a 5 year old, entry level and now weak VR headset which might not be able to run HL:A well.
So, still hoping to see it show up on PSVR2 someday.

Sony has completely abandoned VR though, having made a dedicated website to register and sending PS5 VR adaptor to everyone for free.

Would suggest to wait for PSVR2. As much as I love PSVR, there are too many wires...complete mess. Because of the small kid, I was setting it up every time before I play and then again pack it up once done.
Also the pricing is absurd.

Damn, was planning to play Sekiro as my next From Soft games. Bought it Day 1 for steelbook and its still in wraps.
Looking at youtube videos, never found Souls game interesting but the setting of Sekiro looks awesome.

Maybe because of seeing me in good health. He just told me to be in home quarantine and go to hospital immediately if any symptoms appear. As an additional measure I put myself in isolation away from my family. That ended on 28th Dec.

If they did only total antibody, they need to check IgG levels.
Rtpcr is still the gold standard.
Thanks for the details. Now that its almost 1 month since the test(was done on 14th dec) and there isnt any symptom whatsoever, should I still go for these tests? I am thinking there is a high chance it was a faulty kit.

Yup. And by easier, I dont mean by a lot. The enemies who were killing me earlier in 1 hit, would now kill me in 2 or at the max 3 hits

So, I was scheduled for a surgery on 14th Dec. As a safety measure they did a covid check before the surgery and I was told I am +ive and to come back after 2 weeks if there are no symptoms. I was speechless and felt like someone had punched me in the gut with full force. Once I came back to senses few hours later, remembered they took blood sample for the test. Googled about it and could not figure out what test they have done. Checked with them next day and they told it was for covid antibody test. So, does it mean Corona came and went without me even noticing? Never had any symptom. I am a diabetic for more than 20 years now, with s**t immunity. Or it could be that the kit was faulty.
Its almost a month now and thank god no symptoms appeared. Had isolated myself in a room though because I have a 1&half year old kid.(this was the most difficult part...emotionally too
) and will continue to take the necessary precautions.

Every area in the game I've been to so far, I feel like this is the best area in the game. Atmosphere is just mind blowing.There were few areas where I was feeling scared to enter because of the sights and sounds. Last time this happened, I was playing RE7 in VR.
And then there are the bosses. Beating each and every one of them feels like an event worth celebrating. Dont think for any other game I remember all the bosses so clearly and in the order I've faced them.
Not getting enough time so just playing it for half an hour or so daily to stay in touch. Running around in Forbidden woods grinding for blood echoes. And this area is my current favourite. A damp, dark and spooky jungle filled with snakes, hissing sounds coming from everywhere...amazing level.And I agree with @GunnerY2J, leveling up does make the game a bit easier. Not sure how much though compared to other FromSoft games.

Frustrated by Father Gasoline, I was honestly thinking to just kill him to satisfy my ego and then say F*ck you to From soft and just never touch any of their games again, but the atmosphere in Cathedral Ward is mind blowing. Those hooded figures roaming around with a lantern, a 15 feet guy with an axe bigger than the player himself, some mysterious lights picking me up and draining almost the complete health bar. Seems like a different game all together. And all this moody atmosphere is achieved without any music at all
No idea if all From Soft games have atmosphere like this, but I can understand now why many people mention this as GOAT.
I was playing as a scared cat initially but 'got gud' in the process of trying to beat Father Gascoigne. Played for about 3 hours straight, no deaths, feeling bad*ss and then....BS beast arrived
