  1. Sucker Punch deserves this, considering you can cut bamboo trees in a game 15 years old now. This 'downgrade' is worse than Spiderman puddles.
  2. Nothing ground breaking but getting mostly +ive reviews. Most reviews mention it feels limited by tech..PSVR2 cant come soon enough(with HL:A port announcement )
  3. No Hud mode is only there in Kurosawa mode? Would prefer all the colors in the gifs Carboncore posted. Cant imagine playing a long open world game like Witcher 3 or Sekiro in full black and while only mode....but anyways having options is good I guess.
  4. Finally after 20 days, received the UPS - Microtek 1000va. Wanted to get APC 1100va, but none of the sellers were delivering to my pin code. Anyways, tried it and it was able to support PS4 Pro, Samsung TV(55"), Google Home Hub and a wireless router flawlessly and long enough for the power back up to kick in. Wasnt able to support projector though Thanks @quixote_1989 @kmkaks @Kazekage Gaara for the inputs.
  5. Finished Child of Light. In the unique turn based combat here, its a race against all the enemies to get the turn. It became a bit annoying in the later chapters as enemies keep doing attacks which reduces your speed. Also the combat remained unchanged through out the game so became a bit repetitive as well. Its the first turn based rpg I've ever 'finished' so no idea what other such games do to keep the combat interesting. Anyways, full marks to Ubisoft for trying something new, unique and this artistic. (Though overall I liked Valiant Hearts more.)
  6. Will have to play and experience first-hand how it feels. But, so far I dont get the point of this mode for a game that looks so so good.
  7. You are sure? Using White Destiny 2 CE for almost 3 years now..no such issues. (Brush it twice a day with Vicco.)
  8. Finished HL2: E2 and like always feeling sad, now thats it over. What Ep3 could have been if it was released. Sigh. In another life.... Now, the next play through in few years before playing HL:Alyx, hopefully on PSVR2. Started playing Child of light for the past couple of days. Its one of the most beautiful games I've ever played, like a painting in motion. The combat took some time getting used to but now I'm hooked. Its turn based but with its own unique flavour. Have new found respect for Ubisoft now...which was completely gone in the last couple of years. They are off-course simply making what sells. Have removed my Now Playing text. Hoping to see the return of Ubi-art framework in a game next gen.
  9. Finished it one more time & Ep 1. For a f**kin 16 years old game, it still holds up pretty well. Iconic locations & set pieces, in-game physics which redefined gaming, Alyx - one of the best NPCs and gravity gun - one of the best weapons in gaming. This game has everything and was soooo ahead of competition. Onto Ep 2.
  10. Looks cool Big fan of video game art books.
  11. For a game that was selling for 9.99$ last year... that's good cash inflow. Quite a few of these might now buy the sequel and who knows PS5 too. Smart move.
  12. If rising dev cost is indeed the reason for the hike, don't think GP will keep giving new games at the same price
  13. Cool. Wasn't aware they created Machinarium.
  14. If anyone cares. I liked Maquette(hope there is a VR version too) and Creaks(reminds me of Valiant Hearts)
  15. Wow, a Sly Cooper fan Not counting TWD:S1 the only tell tale game I've played...Sleeping Dogs is the only platinum I have.
  16. Out of the blue, youtube recommended this video and today I've started may be my 50,000th playthrough of HL2. I hope in my full life I experience another game that feels as awesome as this felt back in the day.
  17. Those who prefer game on disc, I hope they still get that option.
  18. Did Wolf 2 inspired you for this post? Bosses in that game were just bullet-sponges iirc. With every game now trying to be a 30+ hour RPG...most bosses are there just to force you to level up and boss fights are mostly just a numbers game now...level X - 100 damage...level Y - 150 damage... Somehow the fondest memories I've regarding bosses are from 16-bit era Contra hard corps game...they were so much fun at the time. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gtVi1KBo6g8 Always loved the scale of GoW bosses...especially in GoW3 and recently the bosses of Nier:A, because the story made me care for them.
  19. My bad. Wasnt aware this feature exists. Rather than browsing thru pages of boring and toxic console war sh*t posts...would prefer to add few to ignore list. Regarding threads was hoping if I can put TLOU related threads to ignore list...so that I dnt click on them accidentally (or during times when it gets difficult to resist )
  20. Is it too much work to add "Ignore" feature like they have at Era?
  21. Bought the TLOU2 SpE too. Havnt watched/read/even peaked into anything related to TLOU 2, since the first gameplay shown at E3. So, much media black out that I've no hype for the game Might be the first game I'm going to play on PS5. @SpearHea:D From where have you bought that 2B statue?
  22. Looking forward to Nier:Replicant. Heard the gameplay is not that good though.
  23. Yea, now I am thinking about picking the other game you usually recommend - MGS 5 Around 40 hours. Route A: ~9-10 hours Route B: ~19-20 hrs Route C,D,E: ~10 hrs I had to play lots of side quests again though as I reached a point of no return during my Route A playthrough. And a good 3-4 hrs might have been wasted trying to figure out the markers in map Have seen people losing interest during Route B playthrough so I will recommend trying to complete as many side quests as you can during your first playthrough when the sense of wonder is there. That is, if you are planning to do the side quests in the first place. They are mostly the usual fetch quests and not necessary for progression or story related events but provide more context to the game world. I ended up with a completion % of 90. 8% during Route A, 74% after Route B.
  24. Finished the game, got all the main endings A-E. This is a new entry to the top 10 games I've ever played.(3rd, this gen). The story, gameplay, soundtrack, characters, philosophical themes, boss fights...everything about the game was top-notch. Loved it!! Its the type of game which when ends you wish for a way to erase it from memory so as to relive those moments all over again for the first time I'm a Yoko-Taro fan now. Guy seems to be unconventional and a bit weird(in a good way) like Kojima. Various fourth wall breaking references, the fake and joke endings, handling of trophies etc etc were so unique. Among all the Ubilol-esque cookie-cutter open world games these days, hoping to keep getting gems like these. Thing I hated most about the game was that most of the times, plot points were discussed during heated boss fights...found it infuriating. Game was heavy, need something fun and lighthearted now...something a RGG studio's game can provide in abundance.
