Rdr2 and W3 for example. Loved them, played them for months, still missed quite a few good side quests because they were location or day/night specific. Agree that this makes exploration rewarding but at the same time can't run around a game's map aimlessly hoping to stumble upon something, no matter how much I like a game. But as you have said it depends on the person.

Its not always about a puzzle being easy or difficult though. You might be enjoying the game but at the same time might not have enough time to go and scan every nook and cranny for secrets.

Played for about an hour and loving it, as expected. As I was playing a PS3 game earlier, the jump in visuals and gameplay is even more noticeable. On one hand, it has such a fast paced and chaotic gameplay and then on the other, there is so much strategy involved among all the chaos, like when to go for gory kills, when to use chainsaw, burn the enemies to get armour points, focus on weak points, use frag grenades in a specific manner, weapons mods, runes, sentinel crystal...and all of this just in the first hour or so. Nothing like it. Then there is the bada*sry on display by the doom's guy. There was one instance where I can see few enemies from the top of a building about 10-12 stories high. Kept on searching for a way down for some time, before realising that doom's guy can simply jump to the ground from that height without any loss of health. Only issue I am facing is that after playing for 15-20 mins, I am feeling nauseous. Dont think I felt like this with the previous game. Hopefully I will get used to it after few more gaming sessions.

And the game went from bad to worst in the finale. Felt like an 8-10 hours game, stretched more than a roomali roti to 40+ hours. Entire finale chapter 2 for example was just talk, talk, talk for close to an hour. Which felt like an eternity because it was so damn boring. After every 20-30 mins, game verifies that you havnt fallen asleep by asking you to walk 4-5 steps to trigger the next cutscene. I was like - Then came the finale chapter of the finale. Starts with 2 protagonist fighting dozens of regular enemies just to increase game's length...followed by the other 2 protagonist doing the same...multiple boss fight-long cutscene combos without any save point in between. I tried twice and then when the third time I had to stop the game in between because of some or other reason, that was it with this game. No respect for player's time. Worst, worst game Watched the rest of the chapter on YT and when it ended, felt a strong urge to start Y6 right away though. My ranking for all the Yakuza games played so far: Y0 >> Y2 > Y1 > Y4 > Y3 >>> Y5

Not sure if it should be counted as "major" release or not, but Hell is us looks unique and interesting to me.
