There is this ranji match happening here, up vs Delhi. Dad got invited to a dinner party hosted for the players from both teams tonight, would not have mattered normally but this time we have sehwag, gambler, Raina, ishant and kohl playing in domestic matches. Not very confident about about our team for tomorrow.Need power hitters in the middle and with Yuvraj out of touch at a very key position,its hurting India's chances of getting a big total.Surprisingly Dhoni is all at sea in this format.
I know everyone will disagree but in big tournaments you need someone like a Yusuf Pathan in the team,who could win you a game on his own in the knockout stages.
I completely agree with you bro. There should have been players who can win matches on their own like Yusuf. Yuvraj is out of touch and the others can only contribute to the win, they cannot win the match on their own.
Irfan Pathan should not open the innings tomorrow if Sehwag doesnt plays again. Instead Kohli or Rohit should open the innings. Rohit opened the innings along side gambhir in WorldT20 2009 also. Pathan played 30 balls and if those 30 balls(1/4 of the Indian innings) were played by a proper batsman like Rohit, Virat or Yuvraj then those deliveries might have helped them to settle and that would have resulted in around 25+ runs in the Indian total.
