  1. IVG FIFA23 LaughOrDie League The OC has decided to start FIFA23 season on IVG with LaughOrDie League. It is organised in memory of our dear friend Rahul Thind (PSN ID: laughordie). The details of the league are as follows: Each participant must be aware of all the rules listed below. Insufficient knowledge of the rules cannot be used as an excuse for breaking the rules. The entire tournament is based on fair-play practised by the participants because everything cannot be regulated by the OC. PRIZE: ₹2,000. Sponsored by Sanwal Memon. @Sanwal IVG FIFA23 LaughOrDie League: RULES & REGULATIONS 1. General: 1.1 Open only for IVG members. 1.2 Dates: 27 Mar 2023 - 14 May 2023. However, these dates will only be finalised after the final number of participants is known. 1.3 Game: FIFA23. 1.4 Platform: PS5 or equivalent generation on Xbox X/S and PC through cross-play. 1.5 Number of participants: 8-10 2. Tournament rules: 2.1 Team star rating: 5-star club teams. Special/fantasy teams, such as All Star XI, World XI, World Soccer Aid XI and MLS XI, are NOT allowed. 2.2 Format: It is a league tournament. Every player plays 2 games against each opponent (1 home and 1 away). 2.3 Ideally, both players should host 1 match each. So, be prepared to play with lag in your away match. However, in case of a connection difficulty, host of a match can be decided mutually by both players. 2.4 Basic football points system applies to the league (Win = 3, Draw = 1, and Loss = 0). 2.5 Tiebreaker: 1) Points 2) Goal difference 3) Goals scored 4) Head-to-head points 5) Clean sheets 6) Play-off match(es) 3. Registration: 3.1 To register, please provide your details in the following format: A. Name: Bharat Kumar B. PSN ID: bharat_SS C. Team: Liverpool 3.2 Submit your team name as well. A player must NOT change their team after playing their first match of the tournament. 3.3 Registrations are open until 23:59 on 23 Mar 2021. 3.4 One team can be chosen by multiple players. 4. Match settings: 4.1 Game speed: Normal 4.2 Squads: Online squads 4.3 Half length: 6 minutes 4.4 Defending settings: Tactical defending 5. Match playing and result/score reporting: 5.1 Players are required to play with the PSN ID they have specified at the time of registration. 5.2 Matches need to be completed within the days mentioned. Start time is 00:00 on 26 Mar 2023 and end time is 08:00 on 15 May 2023. Any results posted outside of this window will NOT count. 5.3 Every player must play all their games, failing to do so may result in warning/ban from the tournaments organised by the OC. 5.4 Players are free to communicate through any medium with mutual understanding (IVG/PSN/WhatsApp). From the past experience, we have realised that WhatsApp is the best medium to decide timing of a match. We will make a group on WhatsApp. 5.5 It is important both players must post the scores on the same day after finishing the game in the tournament thread. 5.6 If possible, please play both games against an opponent on the same day. You two may not be able to come online at the same time again. 5.7 League table will be updated from time to time. You must keep track of your W-D-L and GF-GA stats. In case, I make a mistake it might cost a player a few places in the standings. 6. Lag related rules: 6.1 As we know, lag is integral part of online gaming, there will be lag in almost every match so be prepared to play in lag if it appears. But, if there's an unplayable lag (and not just the normal lag) in a match, players can restart their match with mutual agreement. Try to change the host, it might help. Please be aware if your opponent has scored a goal in the meantime it will stand. For example, player A is facing lag while playing against player B. Player B has the possession and player A presses pause button the game will only stop after a foul/ball goes out of play. If player B scores a goal in the meantime, in the next game player A should give player B his one goal advantage back by scoring an own goal then play the rest of the match normally. But, and it's a big but, it is advised to all players if you have the possession in the early stages of a match and opponent presses the pause button, like in first 10 minutes game-time, please pause the match & wait (remember fair-play?) and if you don't receive any message from opponent regarding lag, just play normally after the pause times out completely. I know it's quite a long point but it has to be explained to avoid any conflict/dispute arising later on. 6.2 If a disconnection happens, consider every match as 93-minute long (it includes the 3 minutes of the injury time also) please play the remaining minutes in the next game. For example, if a DC happens at 62' in a game. You should play 31 minutes (93'-62' = 31') in the supplementary game. The first 31 minutes will count. There's no need to play the entire duration of the supplementary game. It is important to understand this point, and I hope it's clear to everyone. 7. Discipline rules: 7.1 We take the discipline very seriously. Guilty may be disqualified and/or banned from the future tourneys hosted by the OC. 7.2 Please play fair and be nice to your fellow IVG members. 7.3 Last man sliding tackle from behind is NOT allowed in our tourneys. Please do not join if you disagree with this rule. 7.4 Decision of the OC will be final. 7.5 Some OC members may not be present actively here in the thread but they will be around if a situation/dispute arises. 7.6 Abusing, bullying and/or threats against the other players are not tolerated. 7.7 Basically, nothing bad is tolerated. Message from the OC (Dan, Azaan, Surya and Bharat): All the best to all participants.

  4. Here's the IVG FIFA21 Rankings. It's very difficult to find right balance between points for a league and a knockout tournament. However, here's how the points system works: For a match in league tournament: Win = 36 Draw = 12 Clean Sheet = 12 Goal Difference points = 3 x GD (if GD is positive after completion of a league tournament or league stage in a tournament) For a knockout tournament: Players will get points in two different ways, a) for knockout match result and b) for knockout round result. a) for a knockout match (regardless of stage): Win = 18 Draw = 6 (a draw can occur if the knockout stage has 2 legs) Clean Sheet points = 6 b) knockout round points: PQF: Win/Loss = 24/12 QF: Win/Loss = 48/24 SF: Win/Loss = 96/48 Final: Win/Loss = 192/96 *No "round points" for rounds prior to PQF but match result points will still be earned. Since we intend to encourage people to participate in more tourneys, we want to reward players for playing more tourneys and matches. Hence, ratings are not used, instead total number of points are used to determine the leader in the rankings. There are 22 different who played in FIFA21 season on IVG. Without wasting your time any further, here's the link to the rankings table which has 5 updates (after every tourney in FIFA21 season) IVG FIFA21 Rankings

  6. FIFA21 Tug of War Tourney As the name suggests, everything you do in this tourney will be for your team. Each participant must be aware of all the rules listed below. Insufficient knowledge of the rules cannot be used as an excuse for breaking the rules. The entire tournament is based on fair-play practised by the participants because not everything can be regulated by the OC. PRIZES: None. FIFA21 Tug of War Tourney: RULES & REGULATIONS 1. General: 1.1 Open only for IVG members. 1.2 Dates: 13 Aug 2021 – 23 Aug 2021. 1.3 Platform: PS4/PS5. 1.4 Game: FIFA21 for PS4. Players are allowed to play on PS5 as long as they use PS4 version of the game. 1.5 Places will be secured through the "first come, first served" basis. 1.6 Number of participants: 12 (can be changed if more people register). 1.7 Please register only if you are going to be available for the entire duration of the tournament. 1.8 Please register only if you think you can keep your interest in the tournament even after losing several games. We have seen in the past, many people start losing their interest in the league midway through when they cannot get as many wins as they expected and then they stop playing rest of their games. 2. Tournament rules: 2.1 Teams and team star ratings: Any club or international team. Only actual club/country teams allowed, and special/fantasy teams, like All Star XI, World XI, World Soccer Aid XI and MLS XI, are NOT allowed. 2.2 Tournament format: Pulling stage and a Pro Clubs match also. (00:00 on Fri, 13 Aug 2021 – 08:00 on Mon, 23 Aug 2021) 2.3 Players will be divided into 2 teams led by 2 captains. Sarwaan Memon and Ashish Rawat have been chosen as 2 captains by the OC. 2.4 Pulling stage details: Each player from each team will only play 1 game against every player in the rival team. No matches against own teammates. 2.5 Host of a match should be decided mutually by both players. 2.6 Basic football points system applies to the league stage (Win = 3, Draw = 1, and Loss = 0). 2.7 Criteria to decide winner: Team with more points will be the winner. In case of a tie after all matches are played, a tiebreaker system will be used in following order: 1) Goal difference 2) Goals scored 3) Clean sheets *If still equal, a play-off match between any 2 players chosen by captains will be played. A captain can pick himself also. In case of a draw, please continue until there’s a winner. 2.8 Pro Clubs match: Captains have to mutually fix a time for this match. A minimum of 4 players from each team must play the match. There’s no limit on maximum number of players allowed to play. If 1 team doesn’t have at least 4 players to start the match on scheduled time, the opponent team will be declared winner of this fixture. 2.9 Points for Pro Clubs match: Win = 5, Draw = 2 and Loss = 0. 2.10 There will be a Joker system (double points) used in the tourney. Two different types of Joker will be: a) Captains’s Joker: Both captains will have 1 Joker each and they must announce in advance which match they are going to use it in. However, a captain cannot use joker on himself but must use it in a match featuring opponent captain and a teammate. In simple words, a captain is likely to use his joker when his strongest teammate is playing opposing captain. This Joker will only affect the points for the Joker-using Captain's team and it will be like a normal match for the opposing captain. No extra points for him. b) OC’s Joker: OC’s Joker applies to the match between 2 captains. Simple. Both captains will be eligible for extra points in this match. 2.11 Captain's Joker points: Win = 6, Draw = 2 and Loss = 0. 2.12 OC's Joker points: Win = 6. Normal points for draw and loss 3. Player picking process: 3.1 Captains will start picking their players in ABBABABABA order. 3.2 They can mutually decide who gets to pick first. If, for some reason, they cannot come to an agreement, they will play a match between themselves and the winner can decide whether he wants to pick first or second. 4. Registration: 4.1 To register, please provide your details in following format: A. Name : Bharat Kumar B. PSN ID : bharat_SS C. Team: Liverpool 4.2 A player must use the same team throughout the tournament. 4.3 Registrations are open until 23:59 on 11 Aug 2021. 4.4 Players from last tourney will be auto-registered but must confirm their participation in the thread here. New people will also be registered so no need to worry. 5. Match settings: 5.1 Game speed: Normal 5.2 Squads: Online 5.3 Half length: 6 minutes 5.4 Defending settings: Tactical defending 6. Match playing and result/score reporting: 6.1 Players are required to play with the PSN ID they have specified at the time of registration. 6.2 Matches need to be completed within the days mentioned. Start time is 00:00 on 13-08-2021 and end time is 08:00 on 23-08-2021. Any results posted outside of this window will not count. 6.3 Every player must play all their games, failing to do so may result in warning/ban from the tournaments organised by the OC. 6.4 Players are free to communicate through any medium with mutual understanding (IVG/PSN/WhatsApp). From the past experience, we have realised that to set up a match timing WhatsApp is the best medium. We will make a group on WhatsApp. 6.5 It is important both players must post the scores on the same day after finishing the game in the tournament thread. 6.6 If possible, please play both games against an opponent on the same day. You two may not be able to come online at the same time again. 6.7 Tables will be updated from time to time. You must keep track of your W-D-L and GF-GA stats. In case, I make a mistake it might cost your team a few points. 7. Lag related rules: 7.1 As we know, lag is integral part of online gaming, there will be lag in almost every match so be prepared to play in lag if it appears. 7.2 If a disconnection happens, consider every match as 93-minute long (it includes the 3 minutes of the injury time also) please play the remaining minutes in the next game. For example, if a DC happens at 62' in a game. You should play 31 minutes (93'-62' = 31') in the supplementary game. The first 31 minutes will count. There's no need to play the entire duration of the supplementary game. It is important to understand this point, I hope it's clear to everyone. 8. Discipline rules: 8.1 We take the discipline very seriously. Guilty may be disqualified and/or banned from the future tourneys hosted by the OC. 8.2 Please play fair and be nice to your fellow IVG members. 8.3 Last man sliding tackles from behind is not allowed in our tourneys. 8.4 Decision of the OC will be final. 8.5 Some OC members may not be present actively here in the thread but they will be around if a situation/dispute arises. 8.6 Abusing, bullying and/or threats against the other players are not tolerated. 8.7 Basically, nothing bad is tolerated. Message from the OC (Dan, Azaan, Surya and Bharat): All the best to all players from us.
