  1. Developer: Daedelic Entertainment Platforms: Microsoft Windows, Playstation 4, Xbox One, Linux, Mac OS, iOS, Steam Release Date: 16th August, 2017 Price(Non-sale price): INR 1499 (Steam); INR 2499 (PSN); US$ 39.99 (Microsoft Store) Release Trailer: Images: Based on Ken Follett's world-bestseller, ‘The Pillars of the Earth’ retells the story of the village of Kingsbridge in a whole new way. Play as Jack, Aliena and Philip and change the events of the book through exploration, decision-making and dialogues. 12th century, England: In a time of great poverty and war, the people of a small town begin construction of a cathedral. In their struggle for safety and to survive, lives intertwine. Philip the monk becomes prior of Kingsbridge. Jack is raised in the woods by his outlawed mother. His apprenticeship as a stonemason paves his way to become a master builder. Together with the disgraced noblewoman Aliena, they begin the construction of one of the greatest cathedrals England will ever see. Has anyone played this game yet? It's one of the best choice based point-and-click based game I've played. The story is really intriguing and it's far,far better than any of the Telltale games. Highly urge everyone to give it a try, at least on sale if you are hesitating.

Big Ant Studios have announced that Ashes Cricket will launch on 16th November on PS4 and Xbox One, with a release on PC coming later Also Ross has said that PC release date would be before Christmas. Official Press Release: https://press-start.com.au/news/playstation/2017/10/05/ashes-cricket-release-date-revealed-ps4-xbox-one/ Short interview by Ross on Ashes Cricket: https://press-start.com.au/news/playstation/2017/10/05/heres-ashes-cricket-improves-don-bradman-cricket-17/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eKwAibqvY_A Big Ant Studios, Australia’s premier sports video game developer, has today announced Ashes Cricket. Developed in close collaboration with Cricket Australia, it is the most realistic and authentic recreation of the sport ever created. Ashes Cricket will feature real cricketers, battling it out on real grounds, right from the comfort of your lounge room and will be available on PlayStation®4, Xbox One and PC in November this year. Ashes Cricket, the first cricket game from Big Ant to be fully licensed, utilises their celebrated photogrammetrytechnology, which enables photo-real likenesses of the complete men’s and women’s Australian and English cricket teams to be rendered in-game. Added to the fully licensed stadiums, recreated in stunning detail, players will feel like they’re right there on the field as they play. “There is no competition in cricket that has the heritageand prestige of the Ashes competition” Big Ant CEO, Ross Symons, said. “We’ve worked hard to build on our existing experience with cricket to deliver a trulyrealistic game of cricket to our fans.” For players that are looking for a break from the heat of the Commonwealth Bank Women’s Ashes and Magellan Men’s Ashes competitions, all the much-loved featuresfrom Big Ant’s sports games will also make a return to Ashes Cricket. Players will be able to create their own players, teams, stadiums and logos. They’ll also be able to create their own competitions and types of matches, from a short, furious five over match, right through to extended, multi-nation Test match tours. Additionally, players will be able to enjoy a comprehensive career mode that allows them to take their own customised junior cricketer all the way to the ultimate dream; captaining their country to Ashes victory. “Time and time again players tell us the feature they love most about our cricket games is the deep customisation options” Symons said. “We have produced a true Ashes Cricket game, through and through, but we’ve also made sure that our heritage in sports games remains true”. “Cricket Australia’s new strategy recognises the growing role that gaming can play in reaching younger fans, and by working with the likes of Big Ant to develop products that meet this need we are positioning ourselves as leaders in the cricket gaming space globally,” said Cricket Australia CEO, James Sutherland. “The anticipation for the summer of cricket is building and this game will give our fans another way to be a part of the cricket excitement.” ECB Commercial Director Sanjay Patel said: “We want cricket to be relevant and accessible to the e-sports generation, helping us develop an even bigger nationwide following for the game at every level. “Ashes Cricket has been designed to be as life-like andauthentic as possible. It’s the ideal way for fans to recreate all the excitement and tension of a real-life Ashes contest in their own living rooms.” Ashes Cricket will be available on PlayStation®4, Xbox One and PC in November this year. 5. Skybound Games, which is the extension company of Skybound Entertainment - the firm which actually publishes the original Walking Dead comics, have stepped in to complete Telltale's The Walking Dead - The Final Season. It seems the original creator of the Walking Dead world as a whole (i.e. the original Walking Dead Comics), Robert Kirkman has taken an interest in the series, and wants to ensure that the story gets a proper closure. In his own words "We can't lose Rick and Clem in the same year" (referring to lead actor Andrew Lincoln's departure from the TWD TV Show). Skybound Games have already reached a deal with Telltale Games that will allow them to continue The Walking Dead: Final Season game. Tweet from Skybound Games - Source from which I got the news: http://www.rpgfan.com/news/2018/8319.html

  11. Hey Everyone , I'm a newbie on this forum and I wanted to know if anyone has heard of or tried the "Brook Super Converters " before , cause I'm planning to buy one. I heard about it from a friend in the US and randomly happened to search it on Amazon and I was surprised to find them being sold here. P.S :- I'm not promoting this product. I just want to know if its actually genuine and whether it would be worth it. https://www.amazon.in/Brook-Super-Converter-PS3-Adapter/dp/B075GSNN92/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1508912255&sr=8-6&keywords=brook+converter
  12. So my Xbox One died last week, completely out of the blue, without any sort of warning. Warranty is over and apparently Microsoft doesn't honour out-of-warranty consoles in India. I am now left with many games, 2 controllers, a working AC power supply, but no Xbox! I'm now thinking of buying this package from Snapdeal: https://www.snapdeal.com/product/microsoft-xbox-one-console-with/684589452941#bcrumbSearch:xboxone It comes with 2 controllers, 4 games and the kinect. I just need the console as I have everything else. It may also work out cost-effective for me, if I am able to sell everything off (including the power supply) and keep just the console for myself. What do you guys think? Additionally, would members here be interested in picking up the controllers, games, kinect and power supply? Let me know. Currently in heavy withdrawal phase, so need to figure this out soon. Cheers.
  13. New MGS game to release on PC, PS4 and XOne called Metal Gear Solid: Survive. It's a 4 player co-op game in an alternate universe. From IGN: IGN can exclusively reveal Metal Gear Survive, a four-player stealth co-op game set within the Metal Gear universe, due for release on Xbox One, PS4 and PC in 2017. Set directly after the events of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, Survive sees the members of Militaires Sans Frontières not killed in that game’s finale transported through wormholes into an alternate universe, where they’re forced to battle a force of crystalline zombies and, it seems, at least one Metal Gear itself. Source: http://www.ign.com/articles/2016/08/17/gamescom-2016-konami-announces-metal-gear-survive You can see the Gamescom Trailer for the game on the IGN page as well. Game is using the FOX Engine used for MGSV. You will also be scavenging for resources from parts of a destroyed mother base, which is also sucked through wormholes into alternate universes. So wormholes and alternate universes being introduced to MGS. What are your opinions on the new game?
