Download the 5.03 setup from here. http://www.psp-hacks.com/download.php?id=1645 2. Unrar the file using winrar or 7zip. 3. Connect your PSP to your PC.[uSB MODE] 4. Now create a folder UPDATE in your memory stick:/PSP/GAME folder and Put the downloaded unrared file in UPDATE folder. it should look like this memory stick:/PSP/GAME/UPDATE/EBOOT where eboot is the file you have just unrared. 5. Exit the USB mode 6.Before you continue installing your psp should be fully charged and dont plug n unplug any cord to ur psp during the installation. 7. Now in ur psp menu.. goto GAME> MEMORY STICK> Start installation by pressing X [ CROSS]. 8. Now continue with installation by selecting I AGREE And NEXT. ONcE YOUR INSTALLATION STARTS DON`T PRESS ANY KEY. Â Â INSTALL CHICKHEN Now the next step is to install check hen. To install the program: Â DOWNLOAD- http://dl.qj.net/5.03-ChickHEN-Enabler-Rev...26993/catid/114 Â 1. Power on the PSP 2. Connect to the PC via USB. 3. Open the folder of the PSP and copy the download (in the root of the MS) 4. Decompress ChickHEN Mod.zip. Answer "Yes" to all replacements. 5. Now we do a safe extraction of the PSP and switch to PSP now 6. Press O to cancel USB connection 7. Go to Photos, down to Memory Stick and press X 8. Wait for the egg image to load in the ChickHEN Mod square. 9. When it's loaded press X (no need for timing here) 10. DO NOTHING MORE, JUST WAIT Â Â INSTALL GEN A DOWNLOAD HERE- http://dl.qj.net/CFW-5.03GEN-A-for-HEN/pg/...27178/catid/114 STEPS- Â 01. Connect your PSP to the computer in USB Mode when you have loaded ChickHEN R2. 02. Unzip 5.03GEN-A_for_HEN.zip on your desktop by example 03. double-click on LAUNCH-ME.exe (GUI) 04.PSP Model : choose options PSP-2000 or PSP-3000 (depends of your PSP) 05.Mode : Choose option FULL 06.PSP Install : Choose option YES 07. push START. 08.the files are copied on your PSP. 09. Disconnect the PSP from USB. 10. Launch the main EBOOT.PBP using ChickHEN R2 (only R2! NOT R1!). 11. When the app load, press L or R to flash the firmware in your flash. silentassassin Posted June 11, 2009 Report Share Posted June 11, 2009 - When you installed the custom firmware in your flash you can remove the "files" folder in the MS ROOT. For your own safety, is better that you rename or erase the prx called "flasher.prx" in the MAIN APP folder to avoid wrong flash times. Â - If you shutdown the machine or the psp crash, you will need use again ChickHEN R2 to load the main app and press O to reboot in the custom firmware, but if you dont shutdown the machine you are in the custom firmware forever. Â Â BUGS: Â - In recovery mode after the option "Configuration" the option selected is the next option. For example, Advanced is CPU Speed, etc. This is a problem with the original recovery, because I dont have the code is very difficult find the problem. Â Â REMEMBER! THIS APP DONT TOUCH ANY FILE FROM THE ORIGINAL FIRMWARE! IS YOUR FAULT IF YOU LATER CONNECT TO THE FLASH0 AND TOUCH SOME OFFICIAL FILE AND YOU HAVE A BRICK!
