Soon after releasing that update Microsoft realized the problems being faced by gamers and hence a fix was released pretty soon. My 360 got bricked too because of the dashboard upgrade even though it wasn't modded. I sent it to M$ India and they sent me a replaced model within the next 4 days. vinitwins Posted October 9, 2007 Report Share Posted October 9, 2007 yes there were issues with the fall update but it was a direct attempt by ms to filter out flash modded consoles. i think they have changed their aggressive stance now to banning the console ids of modded consoles (only the iextreme fw beats their checks for now...)
