Somebody
Well... It's the lane beside Chiranjeevi Eye/Blood bank or whatever that is. The lane that goes to Jubilee Hills Club. You'll find the shop on the left. It's a small one though. my friend rented Aviator from there a long time ago. Where do you stay ?? I cant post the phone number and all here, so I'll PM you the ph. number later. Post in this thread later
Shantz
gamesquare rents only 360 games I think..

deride
On a related note, where do you buy your blu-ray's in hyd? i found a decent collection in Musicworld, banjara hills. However, there aren't many titles that are available. And wonder why they are so damn expensive here in India. I see the price range from 1299 to 1799 (although sony has a 50% off sale).. this seems much more expensive than the US, where they are available for about 20 USD
Death Stryke
If u have a credit card, you can purchase movies from amazon.com, amazon.co.uk, thehut.com, dvdcrave.com They deliver movies to India at a nominal shipping cost

I didn't know that Amazon delivered to india.. that would be a good place to buy blu-rays. Can someone vouch for these options? i.e. i hope they don't get held up at customs or get lost in the mail. how long do they usually take to arrive once we place the order? I guess I also need to be aware of the region locking when I buy from these places.. do you guys know what region the Indian version of PS3 is set to? inputs would be much appreciated
Death Stryke
^I have ordered from all 3 websites but not dvdcrave.com. All 3 websites delivered within 2 weeks to India and it more or less will reach u within that timeframe though there have been some rare cases of it taking longer. Customs is a hit or miss. Ideally dont order more than 2 movies at once. Amazon.co.uk i feel takes the least time as whenever i ordered it reached within 5 days Indian PS3 is region C. So you should only buy region free blu rays as region C blu rays are available for Asian movies only. Go to this link to find out about region codes for all blu rays released till now
Somebody
Thanks praveen.. i live in srinagar colony, so this place would be decently close by.. oh.. ok... you live near Big Byte ?? anyway, check your PS3's region before you buy blu-rays from Amazon. many Blu-rays are not region free

deride
oh.. ok... you live near Big Byte ?? anyway, check your PS3's region before you buy blu-rays from Amazon. many Blu-rays are not region free yeah close to big byte. you live around there too? I think my PS3 is region 2 or 3. I bought it in INdia, so whatever the default is.. Thanks for the inputs, I sure will check the region before buying
deride
Usually what are the shipping charges for single or maybe two Blu rays (amazon.co.uk and amazon.com) I set up an account with amazon uk and tried to check the shipping price. For super saver shipping of 2 blu ray titles, I saw a charge of about 5.5 GBP.. that seems fair.. I am more worried about customs.. Whenever we receive any software or other stuff from our clients, they invariably get stuck with customs. Not sure if this is because they are corporate shipments to corporate destinations.. I hope for personal orders, they don't get caught in the customs web.. I want to be sure of this, before I order.. there must be some criteria. Like deathstryke mentioned, he only ordered a max of 2 discs. I think it might be based on the price, maybe total shipments of less than 30-40 GBP are exempt.. Anyone has any inputs on this?
