ACIDICBRAT Posted July 5, 2009 Report Share Posted July 5, 2009 Hey guys my lappy is only reading vcd's not dvds,also in driver properties its showing CD/ROM,prolly a software prob,& an other prob is i cant find the disc which had the software,can any 1 link me to that softare,the DVD drive is this > Matshita DVD RAM UJ- 85JS ATA device...HELP PLZ ! Karooo Posted July 5, 2009 Report Share Posted July 5, 2009 y510 or y500.. i have y510.. if you have warranty go to andheri to lenovo service centre and replace the drive instantly they will do. also you can download the software online @ lenovo's site. what did you install when it was working fine? Karooo Posted July 5, 2009 Report Share Posted July 5, 2009 do a format then xD backup imp data.. download the drivers and keep them ready, also i think you have the lenovo OS cd.. and then just reinstall it again.
