AFAIK, the units bought in US will work with NTSC system and the power adapter will be set for 110 V ac. If I want to use it in India, I need a TV that supports NTSC signal. I believe that recent LDC TV's from Samsung, LG provide this support as a menu option. Thus, Wii purchased in US can work with these TV sets. Similarly, the power adapter needs to be set to 220/240 V ac input, so that it can work directly off the wall socket in India. Otherwise, appropriate adapters are available in market. Or should I buy a travel adapter from US, along with the Wii itself? Is my understanding correct? If I want to buy power adapter in Pune, or Mumbai, where can I buy the same?
