The power cord cable is not fitting into the power supply and is very loose. 2. The compilation disc with 5 games is not working and giving error that this disc can only be played with a xbox 360 console. There's a friend of mine who recently purchased his arcade locally and the disc of arcade games when run shows the very same thing and sometimes a disc read error as well.However , M$ does have a 15-day warranty for every software for the X360 and I dunno if this applies for bundled content. I thought of buying a xbox360 arcade,now i dont think so.MS just keeps introducing new problem after previous one goes down. Any tips or help is welcome thanks In my opinion, there is nothing wrong with ur console. 1) power cord is not loose.This is the way it fits.I used to feel the same that its not fit prop...but this is the way it is. 2) Compilation disk?.. dunno why its giving such error...why dun u mess or call ebay retailer. DealinGames Posted July 7, 2009 Report Share Posted July 7, 2009 MS has 7 days dead on arrival warranty in which dealer can get console change and replace it with new console. This policy was told to me by MS (chennai office) for all console i have so it may be applicable for your console. aayushjoshi Posted July 7, 2009 Author Report Share Posted July 7, 2009 hi thanks for so many replies i am not sure if the power cord is same for everyone, i mean its literally slipping out of the socket and thats unacceptable. also the disc is totally scratch free and it came bundled with the box, so i am not sure whats wrong. where do i need to register my xbox to know if its genuine or not also the bill provided by my seller contains this serial no which seems to be different from the one given in the box. though its most likely a human error cause the diff is like 90 is written as 09. how do i proceed from here? do i call MS and if they see this discrepancy will they agree or not? Bulovski Posted July 7, 2009 Report Share Posted July 7, 2009 have you checked the disc on someone else's console? if the disc works then it's a drive issue. you can get the console replaced from MS. if the disc doesn't work then disc issue - crib to retailer first. realsoccerdude Posted July 8, 2009 Report Share Posted July 8, 2009 I am not too sure whether my post will help you out about your problem or not but on my new Pro model (Jasper,Lite-on) I was facing Disc error problem with every Moserbaer dual layer dvd.Also I heard you face similar problems with Indian verbatim o Lite-ons because they are Moserbaer made. All the other brands work fine foe me(Sony,Melody,National,Rainbow etc). Maybe the Compilation disc you got is Verbatim made and not completely compatible with the drive which sounds ridiculous since it has been provided by M.S. in the first place(but since more than one of you are facing the same problem you can't count out the possibility as Moserbaer and Verbatim have been giving disc errors on 3-4 of my friends lite-ons). Can you tell me what exactly the error is and when does it pop up also if you have a hard drive can you install the game on hard drive or is it giving errors too?
