^^ Either your Charm/Intimidate isn't high enough or you didn't select the right dialog options...

for a change you have to intimidate to get the action - basically say 'wtf is this reward, me want '

^^ I highly doubt Croma will have any copies of the game. Try Landmark, they have it for sure.

Hey bro. I went there this evening to Landmark and saw the game there. It was for Rs. 999/-. Did not buy it just yet because I was not sure whether it had a printed manual in it or not. Plus I got there late and didn't have time to really decide.

Saw some cool stuff there though. They had Neverwinter Nights Diamond for Rs. 499! Heroes of M&M for Rs. 299. Homeworld 2 for Rs. 299. And some other stuff. Will go back when I have some more time and shop at leisure. Thanks dude for the info!!

what do you need a manual for? the in-game encyclopedia is very good. and the 360 manual was extremely crappy - NONE of the skills are explained, the class descriptions are just copied from in-game. i doubt the PC manual is a quantum leap.

Since you mentioned it, I had a look at the PDF ME manual. Not very inspiring. No lore, no story. Just the basic instructions on how to play. :D

A lot of ME's appeal comes from reading the Codex entires that open up throughout the game. A lot of the history behind the universe, the various races, the weapons, the equipment, the locations, etc. are revealed in the Codex. Plus, it will definitely help a great deal if you read the two Mass Effect novels that have been released. Both have been written by Drew Karpyshyn, who is the brains behind the Mass Effect storyline and the resident storytelling genius at Bioware.
