KeezNah
Lol, what party? India =! Japan. QFT, sadly enough. But if you're really serious about getting into it, I recommend checking out XLink Kai or Adhoc Party.
KeezNah
What I am trying to find out is this - can the game be completed solo? Completing, as in, the ENTIRE game? I suppose so, but oh man, will it take you some time and energy. Recommend you group up with some peeps, yo.
KnackChap
Hey, it has been fun till now. I am guessing that if anyone likes Demon's Souls, they will like this game too. From what I hear about DS, it seems quite the same. Brutally tough gameplay, lots of strategy to get past scenarios, lots of stats building, equipment garnering etc. Give it a try, bro' I tried one of the older version, couldn't get into it at all but that was almost 2 years ago, so will unite a shot later on. KeezNah
I'd say that if you couldn't get into the older games, Freedom Unite isn't going to change your opinion by much. I'm more of a Phantasy Star Online/Portable guy myself.

Aftrunner
Cant believe there is a thread for this here but after constant pestering from a friend I finally gave this series a chance. And I am just shockingly surprised. I totally expected to hate this but its absolutely right up my alley. Brilliant fun. Also the tutorial mode is rather sublime. As a new comer I was afraid I would be lost in it like I end up feeling lost in JRPGs but not at all. If anything its actually overly thorough (there are like 30-40 tutorial missions). I gotta get the Wii version ASAP.

Karooo
Afty hows the GO? I like the small size but is it comfortable?
Aftrunner
For small periods of play, yeah. But the analog stick is in the wrong place, so if you have big hands it can get crampy if you play for extended periods. Should have been swapped with the Dpad. Absolutely love it though. I cant ever imagine going back to a PSP slim. Slickest handheld/PMP I have ever owned. Also an HD version of Monster Hunter would absolutely kick a*s. Its got pretty good art direction and it looks lovely even on a small screen. Dunno why they havent made a PS3/360 version yet.
Shadoken
^^ Lower sales and bigger budget .... If the series did well in the West am sure they would have got it on HD consoles....Japan is mainly portable land....
Aftrunner
Ah thats a shame. Something like this made with the Far Cry 2 engine would be GODLY.
