Shantz
I'm quite a novice when it comes to LCD TVs but out of the two that you listed, LG seems to be the clear choice, innit?Much better features, much bigger size and still cheaper... Features are same. But I went and saw both. There was clear difference between picture quality and sound quality in them, Bravia was much better in both of them. There was clear difference between picture quality and sound quality in them, Bravia was much better in both of them. ohk, i can't really comment about the picture quality..just saw that the model you named from sony is different from the one you linked to, so i guess 100 hz thingy goes out of the picture..so feature wise i guess only USB and BT are extra in LG. I won't care much about USB but BT is pretty nice. But then these are minor things...So, I would let the more experienced people to comment on this... argruid
May i suggest the Panasonic P42G10 plasmas. Worth having a look at. It should cost you about as much as the Sony 32"

ps4geek
one thing with sony is that there is a premium on everything. But sony products are generally more quality conscious. But I think the only tv that beats sony in picture quality is sharp. If I were you, I would go to the showroom and see the picture quality in front my eyes. You may get a lot of reviews (which are important too), but you should always go and compare the televisions and then decide on buying.
Solitaire
Picture quality is a bit subjective and the showroom lighting is obviously gonna be different from your living room. As everyone says let your own eyes judge. I have an LG Jazz 42 inch and I've seen an LG Scarlet 2.0 too, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with picture quality even when compared to a friend's 46 inch Bravia ( I believe its a W series or something, not sure about the model). And the LGs are cheaper too, none of the cutthroat pricing that Sony has in the name of "paying a premium for a brand". Don't give much of a damn about whether the set is 100hz enabled or 200Hz or whatever, you'll still find yourself switching that feature off while playing BluRays and such. Moreover, do you really want to depend on the sound from your TV's speakers while playing? Even good 2.1 speakers will be a world apart from regular TV speakers. As for Sony, that set seems to have less in the way of features like Divx through USB, so if you don't mind all that and you still like the Bravia better, go for it. Solitaire
I know, just stating the difference. I don't use that feature either, but not everyone in his house is gonna be savvy enough to switch on the PS3 and use it. Like my Mum prefers to plug the USB drive directly into the TV, without switching on the PS3.
Shantz
Main thing about that USB feature is that it plays XVID also, which PS3 doesn't play. Also LG has BT headset feature

lithuvien
I bought the Samsung Series 5 32" last year in December. Cost me around 40 K. Good picture quality, good sound. And it leaves me with enough money to buy a home theater system.
