~--YeSH--~ Posted July 16, 2009 Report Share Posted July 16, 2009 heya.... just got my new airtel BB 512Kbps.... so straight away I created a social club acc and Live acc... but when I tried to run multiplayer... it says I have to connect to live.... when I do ... It says network prob couldn't download profile.... WTF??? everything else is fine ... Im getting 60-75KBps down speed It is newest ver of live and GTA IV also.. OS :: win 7 32bit ... can tht be a prob??? Single player is working flawlessly... gettin' upto 45-50fps plz help me out fellas.....is live down or something???? spindoctor Posted July 16, 2009 Report Share Posted July 16, 2009 almost the same thing happened to me... when trying to download the profile from live, the game would ctd. the only way i could play the game at all was by creating an offline gfwl profile. i cannot begin to express just how much games for windows live sucks. You could also try creating a new gamertag and see if that works. Game worked fine (offline and online BTW) for me. But then again all GFWL games have worked smoothly for me. No issues here. Just to reconfirm, you have downloaded the latest GFWL version from online. Have downloaded the update for GTA 4 manually and applied it as well. Is that right? Does it need an sp3??? If so can I downld it from Microsoft for free???..... and I dont know if my Xp is original or not ( was installed by the guy who assembeled it for free)... And I am not too sure but I think if someone locally put XP on your system chances are it might be pirated. I havent used XP in years so cant say for sure but the only tools that test out genuineness of Windows were the MS ones. Might wanna stay clear of them. Its not really worth all this TBH.
