MarketTantrik
Option 1] : Sell your X360 console and go back to playing PS2 backups. that was rude. The response is justified considering the question. What did you expect if you ask whether you should pirate games because they are too expensive ? lastAvenger
Option 1] : Sell your X360 console and go back to playing PS2 backups. I kinda agree. Gaming is an expensive hobby. You should have thought about the games before buying the console tbh. Anyways my advice would be to go for blockbuster games that are priced at 1000Rs. There are some good games under this collection like Burnout Revenge, DOA4 etc. Search around for the titles.
vinitwins
The xbox 360 games r too expensive.shud I get it modded.Should I buy used games, pls suggest. :cry5: you can buy second-hand games from secondspin.com (it's a US site, so stick with region free titles) or from ebay.com (some good deals available there, but check seller creds). as far as modding is concerned, yes you can soft mod the box (basically change the dvdrom firmware to disable security checks) but there's a downside: 1. you lose your warranty (and the 360 isnt exactly known for its build quality) and 2. playing on live *might* get your console banned (even if you play offline, some newer games might force you to upgrade your dashboard and that *might* brick your box) - basically you need to weigh the pros and cons yourself. Infinity091
Well thats a pretty stupid question. You should have thought about that before buying a 360. Dont bother modding it because thats just asking for trouble so you could either go back to your ps2 like MT suggested or if your really desprate u could rob a bank. vinitwins
i dont see the need to close this thread, he's made a hasty purchase decision and now wants some advice: 1. secondhand games are available, but you gotta import them 2. modding is not recommended but is an option you can consider (warranty, banning, blah & blah) 3. sadly there is no system in place for game rentals (as yet) V
