When I called Salim asking if he could repair the YLOD he told me as well that an IC will need to be replaced. I wasn't convinced so I didn't go to him. Here's the exact description of YLOD * You power on the console.* The console starts up normally for about 2-3 seconds, * The console beeps 3 times while flashing a faint yellow light, * The console continues to flash a red light. In a few days I'm going to attempt to fix my YLOD. Already ordered the thermal compound.
