renjith
Guys, Don't know whether this has been discussed earlier. Each time I am switching on the xbox, the time and date changes and shows the factory set time. But in PS3,once we set it, it will not change. The x box console is new one. After setting the time, i chose DAY SAVING mode is it ok? or is there no real time clock in x box.pls clarify. The second thing is whether one has to call and register the console with microsoft after purchase for availing warranty or the original bill is enough? THANKS IN ADVANCE RENJITH

renjith
The reason is when the system save the game, we can't find out the last saved data exactly since date and time not set.

Dark_Knight
^^ I had the same problem too... I think you have not connected it to the net... Or you might not have updated it... Once i updated the it then it gave me no problems...
_Hellsboy_
actually if you are connected to xbl it sets the time automatically. Are you connected or not? Edit: also is ur console updated to nxe?
renjith
I never connected it. But once you disconnect your net and restart again, will the time and date change to the factory set one? Is there any battery inside the console? because in pc motherboards, li-ion cell is there which powers the clock. PS3 also i think some kind of a cell would be there for providing power to the clock unit. U need not connect it to the net for adjusting time. Once u set it, after 2 weeks also u switch it on, it will show the current date and time. And does update has anything to do with this?
RAPT0R
actually if you are connected to xbl it sets the time automatically. Are you connected or not? Edit: also is ur console updated to nxe? yep! it's automatically adjusted when you connect to live, provided your country chosen is india. if not, i think it will update it as per the country's time that you have chosen! renjith
Time and date adjustment, we can do it manually, by taking the syatem menu, set time and date option etc.. My only doubt is whether every time I have to correct it while switching on? if so, this is a big big drawback.
