MORE: Ghost In The Shell Director Joins Halo Legends Mamoru Oshii, director of landmark anime Ghost in the Shell, has joined the Halo Legends project and will be working on a Halo anime for studio Production I.G. This was confirmed via video message during the Halo panel at Comic-Con. Other studios that will be producing short films for Halo Legends include Bones, Studio 4 C, Casio Entertainment and Toei Animation. Halo Legends posters - 1 Some spiky haired ODSTs looking all bubbly and happy. I feel like crying. 2 Spartan in a mech suit that seems to have jet propulsion. You need to pick up some of the recommendations in the anime thread to prep yourself for the culture-shock I actually like where this is going. Gotham Knight sagged a bit when it came to story, but the art was really good! No such story worries with Legends though, given the quality of some of the studios involved. I still think the whiny teenager thing is a turn off and that kid is way too young and clean cut to be an ODST but still its not bad. Cautiously optimistic.
