Awesome job making L.A. appealing too! 9.5 Graphics L.A. looks incredible and the day/night cycle is fantastic. Incredible nuances in the camera and a great engine give races a palpable sense of speed. 9.0 Sound A fantastic, well-rounded soundtrack, good voice acting, excellent engine sounds. We especially love the light whine as you build up boost while drafting. 8.5 Gameplay Doesn’t do anything radically new, and can be a little frustrating at times, but a solid driving engine, great sensation of speed and competitive AI give this the edge. 8.5 Lasting Appeal Plenty of meat in single player (unlocks are a little slow actually), plus fully featured multiplayer.
