Im willing to buy a 4870x2 card this month. But i heard that this card has more power consumption and produces more heat.So does this card work in India(voltage input)?also is it having any overheating problems like in xbox360.Cuz i had a 360 which got rrod and i sold it. Is anybody already using this card?If yes, then please tell me all your rig.

Any help is greatly appriciated.

It will work fine , but there's no point buying one ... go for a single GPU like nVidia GTX275 or ATI HD4890 .

Im so desperate to play Crysis on max settings with atleast 4xAA. I like playing games with high graphics, thats why i bought a 360 which didnt work well so im going for this one.

Can advise you better if you tell me the specs of your rig . I would get the HD4890 .. it overclocks very well and can beat a GTX280 if overclocked .

You need a 600w Psu to give it juice also makes sure your motherboard supports crossfire. This card rocks buy it :panic:

There are many cheap 600W psu's in the market ., they won't do the trick .. you ll need an Corsair / CM psu . Also to run 4870x2 you don't need a motherboard that supports CF as its a single card .. and the card doesn't rock any more .. 2 x 4890 perform more than 25% better than the same card .

after looking at this site i've decided to buy two 4890's.

http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/ATI/HD_...rossFire/1.html

Im upgrading my pc, im upgrading 4 things motherboard, GPU, Processor and RAM.

I need crossfire enabled motherboard so which one do you guys suggest.Try below 12000Rs.

And a good processor below 16000Rs.

Can you guys tell me what power supply should i get as the above site said this card

consumes a max of 420W. So what should i get to satisfy the whole system?

Why are u buying two 4890s?.5000 series are supposed to hit the market in few months and the prices of the currents cards will considerably fall to a smaller amount.Crysis wont do well even in 4890 Crossfire

For motherboard you can go for MSI X58PO which better suits ur budget around 13k.

Instead of getting 2 ATI 4890's get 1 and spend the money on Asus Rampage II extreme, it is the best board available till now if u wanna overclock.
