Dark_Knight
Crossfire is for AMD Cards whilst SLI is for nVidia cards... Both of them work in an almost similar way....
spindoctor
surprised no one has suggested nvidia yet considering their multi gpu support is better than ati's.
udayrulz
Why are u buying two 4890s?.5000 series are supposed to hit the market in few months and the prices of the currents cards will considerably fall to a smaller amount.Crysis wont do well even in 4890 Crossfire For motherboard you can go for MSI X58PO which better suits ur budget around 13k. Instead of getting 2 ATI 4890's get 1 and spend the money on Asus Rampage II extreme, it is the best board available till now if u wanna overclock. For some one who isn't a enthusiast it would be total wastage of money to invest in Rampage II E / eVga Classified . Most x58 boards out there will let you OC to 4Ghz provided your chip is good enough . RIIE is awesome no doubt but for double the price of an MSI x58 HELL NO . @ OP I only suggested going for 4890's as you wanted to play games @ very high settings , even for hardcore gamers a 4890/GTX275 is enough in most cases . Also since you are getting stuff from US , you should get some cheap DDR3 ram from there as well , prices of DDR3 ram in India are like twice compared to newegg .. Good luck .
