Next minute he gets on stage and says "lets all make 'em pay more for the games". But seriously does everyone spend everything they have on games these days with each game costing Rs. 2.5k plus!! I remember the time, long long ago, when my parents scoffed at the price of Max Payne for PC (it was going at Rs. 800 or so and they said "This much for a game? Are you nuts?"). dullu Posted August 7, 2009 Report Share Posted August 7, 2009 problem is not this.......but once acti shows that they can succeed like this, other companies will follow suit which means tomo sony can bump up prices for games like GOW3 and heavy rain........and M$ can blow away the price ceiling with a halo game a very bad precedent will be set which will make games very costly.... playstationdude Posted August 7, 2009 Report Share Posted August 7, 2009 Looks like activision wants to push people towards piracy rather than eliminating it. if other developers plan at pricing the games at 2.5k+ as well then they can kiss their campaigns against piracy goodbye. besides most of the games released at 3.5k recently(re5 ,bionic commando)werent that great either.
