ALL older Disney anime (and *some* Pixar, like Toy Story, Monsters Inc. and The Incredibles) treated the audience with some respect. -Everything- made by Disney post late 90's is shite (again, except Kingdom Hearts). Disney own MIRIMAX which released (among other things) CLERKS The Crow Pulp Fiction Trainspotting Chasing Amy Dogma Kill Bill While not part of Mirimax they also own the companies that made movies like Stay Alive Beowulf Touchstone (owned by disney) has released stuff like Cinderalla Man Kinky Boots Dark Water King Arthur Unbreakable Disney also owns ABC network that has shown a nude Trei Hatcher in Desperate Housewives.. all in a prime time spot how kiddy does all of them look to u ?? I am a DC fan but I know that Marvel is pretty successfull too. Disney made a business decision, they are not going to blow up 4 billion just for the sake of it by 'kiddifying' the comics and alienating the fans, if they are sensible enough.
