No, the particular 3D tech this game uses even works on regular CRTs. How well it works only time will tell.

peace

thanks :P

No special TVs are needed. You can watch it on normal 50HZ LCDs.

This tech, Trioviz 3D, is supposedly better than traditional Anaglyph, however personally I haven't seen any videos using this yet.

Anaglyph is basically what you would have probably experienced with movies like Chota Chetan or any other 3D movie you get on DVD/BD. Analyph is pretty much shitty and no where close to the experience you get with Polarized 3D glasses which you see in theaters, really bad cuz of ghosting and color fading, you will still get some sense of depth though.

Just to see how this tech works, I will probably pick up a copy. But I am not expecting too much out of this.

Edit: Lol so many posts beat me. Ahh its 4 ..zzz

I already told you guys the 3D was going to be arse. There were old games that experimented with this concept and it never worked there either. Well technically it worked but it wasnt very good.

Everyone going in to expect Avatar or Nvidia 3D tech is gonna come away disappointed. I am not even sure why Rocksteady bothered although it might help them shift a few copies to gullible people.

Just finished the game. What an ending. What.an.ending  Batman fan or not, you gotta play this game. Although as mentioned everywhere

the boss fights arent that good enough (except Poison Ivy, IMO). Defeating Titan henchmen was far more fun.

well, as it has been pointed out before, you are batman and anyone with little knowledge about bats knows his MO, he does not fight like a conventional hero, its more stealth and environmental attacks than head on fighting. i loved

croc, ivy and scarecrow

fights, proper batman there,

bane

was, well expected but the final fight could have been better.

O&E - I really liked the whole build up to the climax, right from the point where

Batman arrives at the party, the room with Titan henchmen, the arena match, and then the final blow. That punch frame is just burned into my memory now.

:surprise: I am not even counting

Killer Croc

as boss fight.

But, yeah. Full respect to Rocksteady, as it seems that they invested full time in characters too.

Joker injecting himself to push Batman to give in to Titan! Classic Joker!

Yup,

Croc

wasn't exactly a boss fight. It was a puzzle level. It has been stated many times before. Bats couldn't go toe-to-toe with him even with all his fancy tech and combat skills. I for one loved how the whole section was designed. In fact, each boss encounter was very true to what we know from the comic books. The only slight letdown was the final fight, but even that ended with a killer blow (literally).

what punch? i just played the game a couple of months ago and i've already forgotten what you guys are referring to

I believe its the one in which Batman sprays his fist with explosive gel and then KOs the Joker with it

:majesty:
