And is there any way to avoid paying customs ??? If not then how much will i have to pay for 15K product ??? And what if i get it from play-asia ??? _Hellsboy_ Posted September 13, 2009 Report Share Posted September 13, 2009 Dude get it from anywhere other than India and be prepared to be stung by customs and no warranty support.And I cant believe there will be no shipping charges for a console.You can get an arcade+20 gb HDD in India(more than enough IMO as you will only need HDD for demos and stuff,installing is not necessary) for around 19.5k if you search properly.Or you can go for the arcade+60gb kit for 21.5k with which you will also get headset,3 months of xbl gold and some more stuff.A bit on the steep side compared to foreign rates but still online shopping for a console is too much risk IMO.Games can still avoid customs but consoles are just too easily noticeable. Se actually the problems i have already stated like high price n non jasper n all, but the main problem is that i live in BHOPAL where there is no place where i can get an xbox higher than, n i am going to quote this "THE CORE" model, n those too just cuzz of the left over stock from the last 2 years !!! n that too for 15000 bucks !!! If you're buying an Xbox 360, make sure you have warranty, and you can only get that by buying from India. Buying from eBay is also risky. If getting it locally is difficult, I would suggest you buy from one of the vendors here, like coolrocker or Prashant. Or you could get it from Game4U.com as well. Buy it off from the vendors here on IVG coz they have a lot of good deals going on. I am not starting a console war here, honest yaa its good but within half an year things will be different, with DX11 commin up n ATI HD58XX series commin up, i'll have to upgrade my pc in around an year or so anyways, but with X360 i'll be able to play many more games for sum 3-4 years least without any worries n get a new pc then...
