Its been nearly 4 years since the last pokemon game(diamond/pearl)..... The game that came out last year is just a remake of the Gameboy color version(Silver/Gold)......each game adds around 200 pokemon .... The thing is you cant catch em' all in one game so they re release the old games and hence it sells truck loads Edit : There are actually just 7 pokemon games (including the remakes) ...its amazing the amount of sales the series has got considering the spin-off titles sell like crap....
