Madhav
^ ya'll just expect everyone to be goodie two-shoes... I have never came across a professional tennis player condemning Federer's attitude.. Never was or is regarded by any of his acquaintance as arrogant... Yet, people are judging him only on Rafa's comparison!! Edited June 30, 2011 by Madhav
Nemo
no one is criminalising anything. I never said being a sore loser is a bad thing, i myself am one. I just expressed my opinion of what i have seen and heard of fedrer (mostly in interviews, i should have clarified) and he comes of as a man unable to take a defeat. Nothing wrong in that, but it also puts a question regarding the perfect gentleman aura that his fans has made regarding him. Nadal has never cribbed regarding loses, sure he has called out his injuries but at the same time his interviews never reek of arrogance like fedrer's do. Hell, at times he even said sorry after winning a match, the one against murray last season in one of the GS (maybe wimbeldon) comes in mind specially. Also nadal is not fluent in english so some times he does not use the proper words and the interview might come of a little different than the intended idea. lithuvien
well ..Federer is not responsible for his aura the fans have made out for him anyway, let us get back to discussing tennis please beofre this thread degenrates into a battle of who has the bigger mojo
Death Stryke
I agree. So, dyou reckon Murray wil finally get the better of Rafa on Friday? Seeing Novak's less than stellar grass court play, Tsonga is going to be a HUGE threat IMO to him with his missile like serve and forehands Also, Will sharapova pick up her 2nd Wimbledon

lithuvien
Ladies and germs! We have a NEW WORLD NO. 1 His name is Djokovic .. Novak Djokovic .. shaken but not stirred ...... Now the difference between the top 4 and the others are clear as day .. While the players outside the top 4 can beat the likes of Nadal, Federer, Djokovic and Murray, they tend to produce such performances once a blue moon,

Madhav
Tsonga gave glimpses of another upset... What killer 2 points were those by him while almost being floored.. But, Djokovic was pretty focused & didn't lose his nerve... Now c'mon Murray, show us that yu are that Brit who'll finally pick up the Wimbledon trophy. I think he should be able do it.. Nadal is not 100%! If Murray can't beat Rafa today then he never can I guess!!
theneurotoxin
Firstly, Murray is a Scot not a Brit. Secondly, there is already a Brit who has won Wimbledon.
Madhav
Firstly, Murray is a Scot not a Brit. Secondly, there is already a Brit who has won Wimbledon. Okay I'm sorry If my post was that misleading... Great Brit & since 1936...

theneurotoxin
On the weekend that Rafa edges within sniffing distance of GOAT he loses his no.1 ranking. Anyway, I sense some major whoop-a*s descending on the prick's face on Sunday for having beaten Rafa 4 times in the first half of the season. shekdown
Murray is a Scot when he loses and a British when he wins. Today, he played like a Scot.
Nemo
How can anyone not love Rafa nadal ?? amazing, just amazing 10 slams, soon 11, at 25 years and still such down to earth attitude. Never would you see him throwing a tantrum, on court. Uncle toni has taught him well. Vamos rafa, blow the joker away !
