But honestly it is good to see three way battle, unlike one man dominance earlier, and i think world ranking are absolutely correct, fedrer in current form is easily the worst Of the lot

Nadal should've just lost. Seeing him play yesterday, I dont see him troubling Novak at all. *sigh* 6th time he wants to lose badly.

What I cannot believe is how in the 5th set, serving 40-15 at 5-3 for the damn match, Fed just tightened up. After that, Novak won 4 straight games and won the set. Unbelievable man. Fed has lost his skill to stay focused for 5 sets. Its simply lack of focus to lose serve twice in a row.

Federer in current form will still beat Andy every day of the week and twice on Sunday.

Maybe you should just not watch the match. If everything is as simple as you make it sound, titles would be handed off court and not on it. wink.gif

Gutted completely, but atleast I dont even think it was mental. Djokovic outlcassed him completely. Rafa was defending while receiving and serving. Djoker was helped to a large extent by rafa's mediocre serve and return of serve. I mean, Rafa's backhands were landing inside the service line everytime for crying out loud. Most of his returns were short except for few flashes of brilliance in the 3rd. Its no wonder djoker could attack and create those vicious angles. Plus Nadal standing 15 feet behind the basline to attack Novak's weak serve in the 4th? I mean, he was jus rolling the ball into court at 80-90 mph to keep the ball in play, yet nadal didn't choose to attack.

Seriously, I cannot believe Nadal didn't tweak his game even one bit. He played his same old game. That wont trouble Novak anymore. Just being a fighter will not help. Last year he won coz of his fantastic serve and his deep returns. This year, Nadal struggled to hold serve everytime.

At times they reported Djoker's return of serve was faster than the serve itself. That pretty much summed up the match. Lets hope Uncle Toni works with this. A win against Novak sometime later this year will greatly help Rafa's mental state

Rafa has actually forgotten how to be aggressive. No more taking the balls ont the rise rather relying on his heavy topspin which more often than not causes the ball to land short, continually pummelling the backhand of a player even if it isnt Federer. On a low bouncing court like in the O2, I have no idea why isn't he flattening his shots more. Its like he only knows to play with spin. He's seriousl just out of it. I'm honestly wondering what is Toni doing. I'm hoping this will change in 2012, but otherwise it will not work anymore. A big serving aggressive player will always get the better of Nadal who stays 6 ft behind the baseline.

Shocking really. I know it wont happen, but I'm rooting for Ferrer here. He's played some fantastic Hard court tennis to beat Murray and Djokovic back to back. Inspiring stuff. Hope he atleast reaches the final.
