I contacted paypal and they say that the credit card issuer bank is not responding to the authorization requests. When I contacted HDFC customer care they say that the problem is with paypal. So i googled the problem and found out that actually the problem is with HDFC credit cards itself. LINK The silly customer care executives did not know about this and they only misguide people Is anyone of you having the same trouble with your card (HDFC and Non HDFC)?
