spindoctor Posted May 19, 2011 Report Share Posted May 19, 2011 Yeah I guess GOG expands files after download, Steam downloads stuff as is... or something like that. steam downloads use 7zip compression technology. the difference is that other sites tell you the actual download size, steam tells you the disk space required after installation. the actual download size for steam won't be too far off from the other sources. Atari will fund the console version from all the money they saved from shafting Eden Games. atari is dumping cryptic as well. they're going all casual now... i'd say it's possible that atari might not even be the publisher of the console version. The combat is not that hard really. Hit and roll, throw a spell, nothing to different than anything before. The big diff. is: 1. you cant use potions in the middle of a fight. You need to 'meditate' to do this, ie. Geralt sits down, etc. So you need to prepare before a fight. Health regenerates. 2. I have no idea which spell is which. This does tend to be irritating. Reviews are still not up on any major sites. Tempted to order on steam though. Digital premium edition looks good.
