holy cow! ninja theory seemed to have achieved the impossible. this sh*t looks, plays and performs even poorly than their previous effort. i mean what the point of adding a jump button if it cant be used in any situatuon, forget combat you cant even jump while traversing unless you stand still or go through one of the many autopilot platforming sections. who the f**k designs stuff like this. and lets not even get started on the platforming or combat section.

which is also supposed to be linear........ u can deviate from the path u have to hold one button that's it i guess

btw wasn't Ninja Theory was a small development team at the time of Heavenly Sword ????

now there it turned out to be 2 disappointments after one another one being the DmC fkup followed by this demo............ I MEAN COME ON!!!!!!! Seriously

man after watching the current DMC i want the remaster HD version of the old ones i bet that would sell more than this Hippe looking junkie :ack:

Gamemaster review scan. Scan link

Check out to Enslaved Review scans to find out (01,02,03,04) or read some excerpts from the review, below (yeah i know you’re lazy):

“We’re bursting to say it, so we might as well just put it out there: Enslaved is a phenomenal experience, and a genuine glimpse into a near future in which games and Hollywood finally get it on.”

“Forget David Cage’s heavy-handed Heavy Rain; in Enslaved every nuance of a character’s expression conveys emotions mere words cannot do justice.”

“Enslaved’s universe is similarly spectacular, grabbing you by the short and curlies during Monkey’s initial hair-raising escape from a Slaver’s ship and never once letting go.”

“There’s a Technicolor swagger here that makes even Uncharted 2 look drab, though it’s fair to say that – in terms of textures at least – Ninja Theory’s baby is a poor relation to Naughty Dog’s opus.”

“Enslaved is also, if not quite a king, then a prince of the set piece.”

I think they pretty much pointing out similar issues that you guys were talking abt ....

“Ninja Theory are throwing all kind of conceptual camera angles at you – dazzling you with their flair for pacing and cinematography.”

“Enslaved is a long game considering it’s genre – a good ten hours to beat.”…”It definitely sags a bit during its middle chapters,…,but picks up spectacularly again before a quite beautiful if strangely sad ending that poses as many questions as it answers.”

“It’s a shame then that the actual mechanics never quite match up to the art and cinematography.”

“There is also a tendency not to know what the heck is going on and button mash your way to victory, but it all looks nice enough and is consistently entertaining. Just don’t expect depth.”

Once again . but if we see the positive things this magazine has to say abt this game it looks quite a good enough game .

" If you’re seeking a roller-coaster ride that piles on thrills and spills, you should absolutely submit yourself to Enslaved’s manifold charms.”

GamesMaster Score:

Graphics – 90%

Gameplay – 84%

Accessibility – 85%

Lifespan – 85%

Innovation – 83%

Judgement – 86% – “A colorful breath of fresh air with some of the best acting chops in gaming history”

I think the final product may not turn out to be that bad ....will wait just for few more reviews. :good:

Enslaved side story to be released as dlc

It seems to be the norm these days that dlc gets announced for a game even before it’s released. Now it’s Namco’s turn to do the same.

Enslaved is the game we are talking about here, and its been revealed the first DLC will allow you to play as the character named Pigsy, a short portly fellow, who has the look of a merchant.

The dlc will take the form of a side story, rather than just giving you an additional character.

Unfortunately there’s no further infomation on this at the moment, so we will just have to wait for Namco to fill us in.

Enslaved is released on October 8.
